Default Does anyone work from home?

My husband keeps telling me we need to figure out a way to work from home. Any ideas??

We both have good computer skills and I have always worked in customer service. We live in a small apartment in Maine and neither one of us is very artistic, although we are pretty good writers.

With the economy the way it is, it's just something we are thinking about!

Thanx

-Amanda

I do I do I do... but, for a nursing agency as a client care coordinator. dealing with scheduling and after hours emergencies. Money isn't the greatest though... maybe they have something like that in your area with home healthcare agencies?

Phone sex!

Dictation? Someone (an unreliable source) was telling me that they use to typle manuscripts and manuals and instruction books. I guess dr's (and maybe scientists?) record things then send that recording to a company and that company send you the recording, you type it up, submit it, get proofread, then comes back to you to fix, and so on. This unreliable source said they made BIG $$$$ but it took several weeks or sometimes months. That's all I know. Maybe someone else will have more info.
But it's something to look into.

Oh yeah, you could freelance. Somethings people freelance at:
Photography
Graphic Design
Computer Repair
Writing

You could do Customer Service from home or if you have journalisim experience you could write for a newspaper.

Remember though, most stay at home jobs dont have benefits unless your with a company.

Don't know how you feel about kids, but if one of your neighbors has kids and would rather not put them in daycare, maybe you could look after them?
