1) choc chip cookies
2) molasses cookies
3) butterfingers! ---only now I eat one fun sized one when I'm at work only. A pharmacist I work with brings them. 100 cals of pure deliciousness!

I really love cookies. A lot. Anyone know of any good tasting diet friendly recipes to help a sister out!?

Wild rice and brown rice are different things. White rice is made from brown rice-it is just stripped and processed, to make it white. There is actually not much difference in the taste between brown and white rice, when you add the seasonings or whatever you put on it.

The three things I won't give up (and don't have to...I fit them into my plan!)

1.) Chocolate: I eat much smaller portions, and I prefer quality over quantity. I would rather have a small piece of dark premium chocolate, or a single truffle from a gourmet shoppe-than 20 Hershey bars.

2.) Red wine: Wine tasting is one of my hobbies...so I won't EVER give this up. I drink all varieties, but reds are my favorite. Currently, I limit myself to 2 glasses per week, or 1 tasting session at a winery per week.

3.) Pasta: I eat small portions, and usually whole grain...but I won't give it up, so no low carb diets for me.

Great thread!

1. Baked Goods
2. Booze :P in moderation of course
3. Meat! I am a HUGE carnivore

As long as I have small, reasonable portions then I see no reason to stop having these things.

With all the "pizza" answers, I'm really starting to drool!

Oh, let's see... besides the occasional pizza...

2. occasional ice cream
3. My morning cuppa joe

This is my list as well, except that I have to add a 4th: CARBS! I refuse to give them up! Now granted, I eat mostly whole grains now, but I'd go insane without carbs. Lol. Seriously, I'd be like that character in the Stephanie Plum novels who held up the Frito truck when she went on a low carb diet.

It's all about portion control right? When I make cookies I use a 1T cookie scoop (got mine from Pampered Chef) to portion them out. Most cookies end up being 50-100 calories this way because they are small. If you have problems eating too many, then freeze them and only take out a few at a time.

1. Chinese food - the stuff I actually like: sweet & sour chicken, orange chicken, egg rolls, chow mein, fried rice, crab rangoon, etc. None of that 'only have a small portion stir fried veggies' crud with this one.
2. Chocolate - I have a whole giant stash of different dark chocolates, which I normally eat a small piece of at the end of the day. My favorite right now is the super dark, orange flavored chocolate with almonds. Mmm.
3. Cheese. Real cheese. I'll eat things like laughing cow lite cheese wedges on a more daily basis... But occasionally I love to enjoy some real cheese. My favorites are provolone, swiss, gouda, and feta.

Need I say more?
