Glad the Favre question is answered and he didn't come here. We went through the whole training camp with no news coverage of what was happening at camp - just news of how there was no news on the Favre negotiations.
We're Cowboys fans here. Texas born and raised...from what I understand we don't have a choice. Friday night's game was a good'un. What a heartbreaker for Harry Williams of the Texans. I know he won't be back for the season, but I hope he's able to walk away from this completely recovered.
DH and I have the year's schedule taped to our desks...we have to plan our "date nights" around all the Cowboys' games and some of the other big games.
I am so excited for football!! I don't care who's playing, if it's on tv, I'm watching it. Tomm will be awesome tho, cause my vikings play the packers.
I can't believe the Pats lost Tom Brady. Horrible blow for that org. I hope he makes a full recovery and will be back next season. When the best of the best are not playing the game, it's just not the same.
I'm sorry TBrady is hurt, but I'm certainly no fan. I do wonder how the rest of the season will shake out. Everyone had decided during pre-season that the Patriots were going all the way and now, it's anybody's season.....well, except the Cowboys! LOL!!!
Wow, there were some awesome games yesterday! Quite a few of the favorites losing, too!
Terrible news about T Brady. I hope he takes his time recovering and doesn't rush to get back on the field. But, the Pats did a decent job without him.
Still worried about M Barber for our Cowboys. Haven't checked Sportscenter yet, so I have no clue what the diagnosis is. Regardless, with a total of 487 yards versus the Browns' 205 total yards, I think we did okay without him, especially with the Browns being considered a defense team. I was disappointed in the Dallas defense a few times, especially on the one touchdown the Browns had, but it's the first game of the season and the team was basically in mid-season form. That's great!
