Unfortunately for me my mom has HORRIBLE tastes in names. She wanted me to be Ursula or Gertrude (no lie). Right after child birth she started to hemorrage (sp?) and my dad declared that I would be named Jill Marie. Jill because that was what my g-ma wanted to name my mom and Marie because it was a family name. The doctor told my parents that they weren't allowed to name me Heather because he was tired of hearing that name.
If I ever have a daughter I really want to name her Chloe. My dad hates that name b/c it was the name of his first wife (although she went by Sue). I love it! It sounds classic yet is unique.
My boys (cats) are Sloan and Slate.
Sloan means warrior and he is a Maine Coon and looks like he is wearing war paint. Slate is the color of slate, he is a Russian Blue. I had originally wanted to name Slate Azrael (after the Smurf's) but then I found out it was the angel of death, I quickly changed his name!
