Google search for me, also - I was looking up The Fat Smash Diet (first and last commercialized "diet" I ever tried) and found people discussing it on here. I was inspired by Celebrity Fit Club to buy the book and start the diet. I found it very hard to follow, slightly contradictory, and not for me, but through my research, I found this forum and then helped make a different plan for myself to drop the pounds.

My DD discovered 3FC first, when she wanted to lose a few pounds and was researching different diets on the internet. After I started SBD, she recommended I visit this site for support and tips, and I've been here ever since. That was back in early 2004, this website is the best!

Like some of the others have already posted, I googled "weight loss success" and came here as a lurker for a couple of days and finally joined. I'm so happy that I did because this is a wonderful place with great advice and success stories from people that is or has gone through the ups and downs of losing weight and being healthy.

I had a friend in the 3D world that was using it back in 2000/2001. She told me about it then and I remember looking at it, but I wasn't in the weight loss frame of mind then. Fast forward a few years, and I had lost about 75 lbs. I was struggling a little and was afraid that I was losing steam. I remembered the website my friend had mentioned and so I went to 2fatchicks.com (a porn site ) by mistake. With my memory failing, I googled fat chicks weight loss and came right here. Definitely one of the best things I could have done for weight loss.
