Fix a healthy meal for all and eat a sane portion of it for myself.:)

Low-calorie pudding or yogurt?

WindyCityChick 06-12-2007 12:08 AM

Yogurt

Low fat or fat free

SoulBliss 06-12-2007 12:16 AM

Low fat!

Bing or Reineer cherries?

walking2lose 06-12-2007 07:44 PM

Never had Reineer (probably missing out), but I love Bing cherries!

3 meals a day, or the less traditional several small meals?

srmb60 06-12-2007 08:17 PM

I eat all day long

light weights with many reps or heavy with fewer?

kateconfessional 06-13-2007 11:06 AM

tough choice.

i think light with many reps. i haven't worked out in 5 months (started again 2 weeks ago), i'm not that strong! heh

taking a spinning/intense aerobics class or running on a treadmill

rubberlegs 06-13-2007 06:35 PM

Treadmill. I want to be a long-distance runner.

Exercise in AM or PM?

meowee 06-13-2007 06:40 PM

AM . . . I'm definitely a morning person. :coffee:

Do you tell your "real world friends" your real weight or not?

srmb60 06-13-2007 07:19 PM

Yup, if they ask ... or peek over my shoulder while I'm on the scale at work.

Would you rather just tell them how much you've lost?

rubberlegs 06-14-2007 03:17 AM

I guess, but I don't really like to discuss it, period.

pasta or rice

meowee 06-14-2007 07:03 AM

Pasta

Would you describe yourself as "scale phobic" or "scale fanatic"

walking2lose 06-14-2007 10:48 PM

I have never owned my own scale until about 6 months ago (I mean as an adult - my family did have one when I was growing up). So I'll say I'm a scale newbie. I now weigh every Friday, and it's become routine. I don't think of weighing any other time.

If you had to pick one type of clothes to wear every day what would it be (for example, warm ups, jeans, shorts and tee, dress casual, professional, etc.)

walking2lose 06-14-2007 10:51 PM

oops... it's kinda late. I just realized the thread I'm on is not just the question thread, so let me change that to a diet related question.

Portion control: Do you use measuring cups? A scale? Or do you guesstimate your portions?

WindyCityChick 06-14-2007 11:50 PM

When I started counting calories, everything was measured in measuring cups. Now that I have a better sense of amounts, I guestimate on many thoings (but anything really high in calories - e.g. nuts, peanut butter, etc. - I still measure)

Ok, how about measuring success - inches or pounds

MariaMaria 06-15-2007 12:48 AM

Inches (measured via clothes, not with a tape measure).

Exercise: outdoors or indoors?
