What was that out of my Cards last night? It was one of the sloppiest games I have seen in a while. Plus, we lost!

Rockies won in 11 innings!! Woohoo. --sorry to say I didn't make it that long and had to look it up this morning to see who won.

On the 11 year old All Star tourney: Our team lost their first game, but won their second game, so we're playing again today and until we lose. Go Nationals!

Thanks EZ! Our little league boys won again yesterday, so we're headed back again this afternoon. Unbelievable score of 32-16. Yes, we're playing baseball, not football!!! Ha!

I didn't see it, but the Rockies won last night. Woo hoo!

Does anyone get excited over the pro's All Star game? I don't, but wondered if anyone else liked it.

Well my guys are sinking fast as the break approaches! 4 big losses in a row now...just can't stay in first when they get there.

DIANE ~ What? No mercy rule in Colorado? A real pitching duel going on there

I am with you...I haven't cared about the All-Star game in years, when my son was here we would have the game on but mostly for background. The last couple of years I didn't watch as Angie and I had our goldens in dog training classes. That was a real joke...but then I blame it on their "parents"...HEY! That's me!

Good luck to your team on their game today!

A nice win over the Giants today. Yesterday was terrible.

Now the all star break. Lets hope some of the injured players can get back to 100%.

Diane how did your son's team get on today?

I just had to chime in on the All-Star game. No, I don't get too enthused about it. I don't think the players get too involved anymore either, but it sure makes a difference when it comes down to who's the home team in October. Personally, I think the team with the best record should get home field advantage during the World Series, but no one asked my opinion.

Well, my son's team won again last night, so we're in the championship game. We have to beat this team twice, though, because they are undefeated right now. So, I will be off again this afternoon on our daily trek out of town. Gosh, I'm going to need to color my hair after all of this.... going gray in a big way!!! Ha! We're having a lot of fun!

By the way, EZ, we do have a mercy rule in Colorado. We got ahead by that much in one inning. And, they had the last "at bat". It was a very late game!!!

Diane - Congrats to your son and his team!!!! I'm rooting for them!!!

I kind of like watching the All Star Game. I don't get overly enthused about it, but if I'm off I watch it. I plan on watching tomorrow since I have the night off. The home run derby is still fun to watch. I especially liked watching Matt Holliday this year. He's an amazing hitter and it's fun to watch him get some recognition!!

Well, it's over. My son's little league team lost last night. But, that means they came in 2nd in the tournament, so we're all very proud of them. Kind of tough for kids that age to play a game each night for 5 nights! The other team came from the winners bracket and only played 3 games with a break between each night. Just the way it works out! My son told me that it is time to put the baseball stuff away and get out his fishing gear now.... before we have to get the football gear out!!!!

Congrats to your son Diane. I am sure you are proud of them!

Tournaments are brutal for kids. My niece just had a girls basketball tournament and they played 3 games a day for 3 days straight. It was awful.
