Sorry for not posting. I have been working out of town all week and I don't take a computer with me.

I did get to see all of the college world series games with UCI ~ way cool and exciting! I will be pulling for OSU now too SLASHNL!

CLYDEGIRL ~ On Sunday our local paper had our local CARDINAL minor leaguer Shaun Boyd listed with the Independent League ~ he had played AAA for them....guess he isn't cutting it? My son has another friend that was with the Phillies AAA then went Independent last year, called him a few weeks ago and agreed to sign with a Korean team for $240,000 a year. Said he needed to provide for his family and it just didn't look like he was going to make the "SHOW" after all these years...he is about 30.

I'm with you, Joanne. Can't stand the Yankees! They kept talking about how full the stadium was for the Yankee/Rockies games and how everyone wants to see the Yankees, blah, blah, blah. I was so happy to have the Rockies step it up a notch! We actually had a power outage at work when the game was on yesterday. Since we had no computers and couldn't see very well, we gathered around the battery operated radio I have and listened to the end of the game. So cool!

I'll be looking for you, EZMoney!

Ok, baseball fans....I'm back. I was housesiting and had no computer access. I did see some of those Cards games though. Missed the 14 inning one.

Actually, the perfect situation would for it to be a 0-0 game through 9, Kazmir to come out and Saito to pitch 2 innings & get the Win. So if you can make that happen I'll root for LA

I haven't been here in a while but my boys are making me proud!!!! I've been spoiled and have gone to a bunch of games...go Sox (red ones)!!!!

Gary hope you had fun in Colorado! I used to live in Denver, but I actually live in Utah now. I still root for the Rockies. Before I moved I actually called the cable company to make sure that I could still get the Rockies games on TV. If I couldn't watch the games, I'm not sure that I would've moved! They'll always be my team!!! I make it back for 2-3 series each year, but I wish I could make it to more!
