He bleached his hair blonde and changed his number from 61 to 19. A few of the players weren't too happy about him changing his number.

I watched two college world series games yesterday. Both the teams I am rooting for lost. UCI and Cal State Fullerton....both are small colleges, I know/knew kids that go to both (not for baseball) and they are less than 75 miles from me, so "home" team. I will pull for Oregon and ASU if they advance though.

I like the new guy Ryan they brought up from the minors. He played well his first 2 games.

Even though the Rockies lost on Sunday, they're still over .500!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: That's so fun to say!! And we took 2/3 from Boston, and Tampa Bay. Next up is the Yankees. I hope my boys can keep it together and win the series. That would be nice.

The Giants are doing a very good job at keeping themselves in the cellar. 5 game losing streaks will do that! I'm not complaining though, them in last place, means my teams not!!!

Marathon last night. Went to 14 innings. I'm glad to say they won against the Royals.

Oh, and I'm loving the College World Series. I was going for ASU, but I guess I'll switch now to OSU. We have the Junior College World Series here where I live and it is always a good time. I think it would be a kick to go to Omaha. I might melt with the heat and humidity, but it would be worth it!

EZ pointed me in this direction from another thread. I am a huge baseball fan. Professionally, I root for the Cardinals and anyone who is playing against the Cubs. ha! ha!;) Locally, I cheer for my 8 year old son's midget league team. He plays 1st base.

Clydegirl - I stayed up for all 14 innings last night :yawn:and am a little bleary eyed this morning. Are you? I am glad to see there is another die-hard Cardinal fan here.

Hey Ellies mom! How funny, I have an 11 yr old son who plays 1st base in his little league. Our season is over, but he made the All Star team, so he will play in one more tournament on the 5th of July. They are the "Nationals".

Gotta love little league!
