Today? Yesterday, I was embroiled in a family crisis. A visit with our pastor made things so much clearer. Prayer is sufficient. It's not up to me to intervene and set folks straight. Why would the warring parties listen to me anyhow?
He helped me to see that I have a lovely DH and family and life where MY focus should be.

I am this morning because I should have a short day at work and it is supposed to be a great day here.

And because I bought my wife, what I thought was a really cool t-shirt, and she loves it.

I'm smiling today because its gonna be almost 60 degrees out....much better than the -5 it was last week! We've broken free from the cube and fought our large window in our downtown Boston office open so we can enjoy it!

I'm smiling today cause I got a chance to fix my DD's hair the way she likes it to look and she is happy. Oh yeah, shy, timid and tiki do not belong in the same sentence. That was just a joke!

I'm today because boobalah realized that since I've taken this new job of reinventing myself seriously, he's put on 10 lbs!

I'm today because I'm doing myself a favor and getting my mammogram. I'm gonna be in for a world of hurt but it is better than the hurt of the bad news.
