To Kill a Mockingbird

Who do you most respect?

jtammy 03-05-2007 11:35 AM

My mother. Life has never been easy for her, but she is so strong.

for the book - any Agatha Christie book. I've read every book she has written including those she wrote under psuedonyms and I know how they all ended, but I still can't put it down once I've started it.

Back to the respect question - same question.

girl81 03-05-2007 01:30 PM

Jesus and my father.

Greeting cards.... do you give Hallmark a lot of your hard earned cash?

Is that really me 03-05-2007 01:31 PM

Respect -- my daughter -- she never ceases to amaze me.

Hey, I'm reading TKAM right now! I don't know how I've gone my whole life never having read this book.

My book I always have to finish once I start is S.E. Hintons' The Outsiders.

Greeting cards -- only for b-days and such. But they are always, always the funniest ones. Could stand in Target all day reading them.

Ginger or Mary Ann?

Jo

Mary Ann. She had more of a chance getting the Professor.

A very stupid, but mildy amusing thing you've done?

FrouFrou 03-05-2007 03:48 PM

Greeting cards/hallmark...umm, yeah...I should have stock in Hallmark as much money as they get from me, lol! I love giving/sending cards and not just for BD's or holiday's, just because.

Mary Ann or Ginger...MARY ANN...Ginger was too over the top for me.

A very stupid but mildly amusing thing I've done? Can't think of anything at the moment but I am sure there is something, lol.

Slipped and fell into the baptistry as I was getting ready to be baptised. Was soaking wet head to toe before the baptism occurred!

Fell down the steps at my high school graduation and landed at the feet of Mother Francis Xavier (can you just tell by her name what kind of nun she was?). Was greatly disappointed that my dad completely missed the picture!

What are your top three bands (or musicians) and their songs?

Oh, you want to know mine now, don'tcha? Ok

Emerson, Lake and Palmer -- Trilogy
Yes -- I've Seen All Good People
Pink Floyd -- Comfortably Numb

This is what "old" people listen too; can't wait till I'm 90 and in the home. I'm gonna blast 'em!!!!!

Ok, your turn. :)

What's your favorite breed of dog?

Trendle 03-05-2007 09:06 PM

Just plain ol'e mutts. They're just as loveable and cute as any dog with a pedagree.

Which Winnie the Pooh character best fits your personality?

royalsfan1 03-05-2007 09:21 PM

Generally Mrs. Roo. Tonight, Eeyore. :)

Harry Potter - love or hate?

walking2lose 03-05-2007 09:21 PM

I think Pooh himself

Same question...

walking2lose 03-05-2007 09:23 PM

Oops. Harry Potter - love of course. Now mind you I've only read the first book, so I'm not head over heels for it, but I don't see how you could hate any book that gets kids so into reading!

Favorite book at middle school age?
