They cancelled the card and will reissue a new one for me and will send me a report to go over--all I need to do is circle the charges that do not belong to me and return it and they'll take the charges off.

This is the 3rd time they've called me to report unusual activity. The first was when we purchased our big screen TV (big purchase) and the second time was when my DH forgot his cash and used his card twice in the same day (he had never used the card prior to this).

Again, all I can say is thank you Citibank!!!
They did the same for me and that's how I found out about the charges. Agreed. Thank God for them. One thing, I did have to have the form with the illegal charges notarized so unless the rules have changed over the past few years, you might have to do that too.

I like that they keep an eye on me and that's why this is the only card I have!

We usually do pay cash--so much easier. But with big purchases I do use the cards. I also use cards if I shop at stores where I have store cards--it's just easier. Besides, I have some store credit cards registered at eScrip so my DD's band gets a bonus check (from "me") each quarter (okay, so it's only like $5 or $10 each quarter, but it helps them).
