Didn't awake until 7:30 this second day of Christmas and would be still asleep if those two calling birds had kept their beaks shut! :(

Drove home in the dark in a blizzard last night, feeling very Canadian. Today I just feel battered and am going to try for a restful day.

We celebrate "Boxing Day" too. We wrap ourselves up and go to the mall to buy boxes of the stuff that we wanted but didn't get from Santa. :p

Actually, we donate new food to the poor before Christmas instead of dumping our nasty leftovers on them the day after. :D

Can you tell I get in trouble on my political sites for fighting on both sides when we get into our little "Border Wars"? I was told once that I'd be a great diplomat because I'm good at finding our commonalities but it wouldn't happen because I don't look for the good we both do but instead point out the ways in which humanity craps all over each other. Oh well, I gotta be me. :shrug:
