Except maybe this, my son is in the Phillipine Islands and his passport was stolen. Picture this, he is at the Police Station reporting this and a drunk comes in , the police hand him handcuffs and he put them on himself. Mayberry USA all over again.

So, I've been looking into renewable energy and I find out that my city allows personal wind turbines within the city limits. Well, I just so happen to live in the windiest city in the windiest state in the freaking nation. Heck, some of our trees grow sideways because of it. Seriously folks, the danged things can grow all kinda crooked. ANNNDDDDD, we are well known for having rain or snow on cloudless days because the wind will blow it over to us from the storm system two counties over.

Now, I want a danged turbine. The wind has been going at up to 100 mph and all I can think about is how money is just blowing out of my pockets. Oh ya, and the power company has to buy back any excess. That money would come in real handy like so I can replace the gate I just built that is getting blown apart by the wind. :mad: Plus, I could afford some ankle weights for my dog so he don't blow away while making a tinkle.

ANNNDDDD, before some CA dumbass gets on here saying how it's so windy here because I'm a big ol' windbag, NOOOOOOO!!! It is so windy in Wyoming because Utah blows and Nebraska sucks. :p

Doesn't look promising from here.

Not to rub it in or anything, but some of us will be busy preparing for the Super Bowl. There are game tapes to be watched and analyzed, plays to plan, photo ops for Mr. Brady, obsequious remarks about the strength of the Giants to be leaked to the press. And Super Bowl Champs sweatshirts to be ordered.

It'll be a busy two weeks - barely enough time to mix a batch of guacamole from the California avocados so graciously sent to the East Coast.

From that perspective, California is always in the Super Bowl, LOL.
