I hope she rocks are EDIT~ OUR Thanksgiving BARGOO (that's a given if she doesn't change a thing)

I may just start a Thanksgiving Food Regional Challenge here today....think I will!

Howver...sniff...sniff....

As you all may remember we are cancelling Christmas this year due to Reba's enormous vet bills!

After my trip to my periodontist yesterday ( they LIED!! it was for a cleaning they said...4 hours and 1 tooth later) I think we will be cancelling Christmas next year too!

I also have X-Rays to take across the street to my dentist for a crown!

That's why I am a bit today....I brush regularly, I floss regularly, I see them 3-4 times a year....I chew sugarless gum, I don't drink anything all day long but water and black coffee.

Old age and soft teeth they say...mom was too...but she had dentures, except for my one bridge in the back, and the one he stole yesterday, I still have all my teeth....

oh, except for my wisdom teeth....

that might explain things

It certainly does, Gary!

I am going to be in PA for American Thanksgiving this year. Is there anything I should worry about - aside from being in the middle of a very dynamic Italian family and being a WASP?

The book speculates that I was shot by two boys instead of by myself - which is the common speculation.

Both speculations are false. I died of a broken heart when I realized what my paintings would sell for in the 21st century even though I was too poor to buy adequate food at the time.

<sigh> . . . It didn't seem to help. Should have thought this through better.

Now you're starting to sound like all those NFL~NBA~ MLB~NHL old guys walking around with busted up bodies and minds, with little or no help from their past employers....

with the young guys holding out 'cause they can't feed their families on 21+ million dollar 3 year contracts....

and making pocket change contributions to those that made it possible for them to do what they do for mega $$$ and not have to take second jobs in the off season to support themselves....

over!

I did win...

wonder what Angie will get?

All she told me was a basket of stuff.

Knowing the lady I can imagine it will cool stuff for my wife but I doubt there is a cheesy/hamburgery cookbook or anything close in it to get my heart racing!....lol

Thank you all again that voted and the trouble some had to go through to do it.

It means a lot to me!!

The support here on all fronts for people is amazing at times.

Big Hug

Sheesh, Gary! Don't get all sentimental and soppy in here!

I am glad you won though and hope Angie shares some of the good things in the gift basket.

Crappy cold and wet weather here this morning but I shall rise above it. More coffee helps!

I dunno, she won't share me with any of her cute friends When I ask why not Babe, she just replies "I like my friends!"

Gary your coffee sounds delish, are they online ? I'm going to google them and see. I use kcups and I was almost out , I was in CVS and got some kcups there, worst stuff I ever tasted. Tasted like instant coffee. I googled HisCoffee, no kcups but it is worth checking out their website just to read the descriptions of their coffee. I had to order coffee from another coffee and the one I have coming is Black Tiger. That should make me sit up and take notice.

Glad you found them BARGOO....I don't know much about them, there is some info in the site. It looks like maybe a Catholic group but not sure. Anyway the coffee I am drinking this morning, Holy Grounds is really quite mellow and good.

With the catchy names I am going to pass the info off to the youth group director at church to see if he is interested to check them out for a possible Christmas gift fundraiser. Not cheap coffee for sure but right in line with gourmet coffee prices.

When you buy cheap coffee you get what you deserve.

All this coffee chat has me feeling really guilty as I sip a big mug of Nescafe INSTANT with SF hot chocolate mix added in. Luckily I never feel guilty for long!

My mom drank Tasters Choice for many years, unless she knew I was coming over then she'd make a pot of Folgers...

I am not a fan of instant coffee...but I suppose adding flavors would help!

Speaking of coffee I almost got up between for some between 1am-2 could not sleep. Finally slept a little after 2am to 3:55....whew!
