Cool pics, Karen. My dog would probably put up with a doggie seat or just about anything else to get to go for a ride.

Well, I got the produce garden started with 16 strawberry plants. Got some tomatoes started inside too. Just have two more boxes to build and fill with loam and that project will be done but for the rest of the plantings which must wait till after Mother's Day. That's typically considered the last frost day round these parts. Pics to come.

Also, got my front yard going. All my rose bushes made it except one. Figures it was the one the X picked out. Turned out to be just as lazy and useless as he was. Gee, can't imagine why I divorced him, huh? But, I got a prettier one planted in its place. Going to do some Dahlias and Glads this year even though they have to be lifted in the fall. I just love them, so it will be worth the extra work. Can't get the rest of the bulbs in till the soil I ordered gets here.

I JUST LOVE SPRING TIME IN THE ROCKIES!!!!!

OK, so it's really the Wasatch Range, but, that just sounds stupid.

Hey! April is nearly over and we've not had any snow. I guess it's time to pay the plough guy.

I managed to save most of my landlady's plants, except for one tree. It still looks sad out there, but that's how it's going to be. Landscapers around here don't go for all natives by the looks of it, so whatever dies from low maintenance (occasional watering) dies whether I keep it up now or not. I'm not here to do her gardening, even though I would love to have a veggy patch.

It's really not fair of you to brag, Gary. You live in California, some other parts of the country still have snow. Of course I understand why you would gloat , a little. I would , too, but I just don't have room for a vegie garden.

Oh I totally understand BARGOO ....for years I calmly, politely and with all due respect...reminded Angie that we did not have room for veggies on our dinner plates....

the slap downs were brutal....

I just love-LOVE my veggies now...

if I know what's good for me!

I do get plenty of oranges and lemons from my neighbors whose trees are bursting with fruit right about now.

Oyi! I wish you Canadians/Westerners/West Coasters well, this is surprising news:

I'd keep an ear open if you are the outdoorsy type.

Well wishes for everyone and their pets!

18 minutes before I prepare to haul my bum to the gym.

I've charged my MP3 player and I am ah-ready to go!
Hm. That reminds me.
Does anyone have some tunes that just really gets them going?

I could use a new mix to distract myself away from the TVs that are provided.
Why do they have food network on anyway, I'd laugh and just might have been interested in some of the recipes if watching nearly a whole stick of butter go into a dish didn't make me nauseated!
