HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

zanheltangia 01-29-2010 02:12 PM

The large red letters... burned my retinas! Good thing I know where all the keys are on this keyboard... Now, I wonder if I can blindly find the send button without smileying this post to death...

1 hour and 20 minutes until blind freedom! :D

My bossman had the few coworkers and I stand out front and wave the leaving coworker off a few hours ago, holding signs with the number 10 on them like we were Olympic judges as she drove off.

Such weird 'going away' ceremonies we have...

I cheated a minute ago and pressed the same sign against the front window as the second coworker left as well.

(Married couple moving on to greener pastures as the ship here sinks)

I flipped it and showed my boss a 01 jokingly (as if I had been holding it that way for the first coworker). You know my thoughts exactly, don't you,

My 15 yo daughter said she prefers to not have a boyfriend during Valentine's Day because then she doesn't have to try to think of something to give. (She is my lazy child.) But, darn it, she has a boyfriend right now. I told her to break up with him now so she doesn't have to deal with it. I prefer when she is "single"... obvious reasons.

Must be tough, having a teenage daughter.

I grew up with some buddies that when Christmas and birthdays came around their dad informed them they were Jehovah Witness (they don't celebrate)...although they never went to church....

Try having 2! :) Although I raised 2 teen-age boys too...easier but no cigar!

My grandma had 12 before Grandpa ran off(bast*rd!!!). I also live in big-family, Mormon land. They manage because, after about #6, the older ones help with the younger ones. Then, the younger one help the older ones when they start having their own. Not a bad thing really and helps folks with learning how to manage a family and household from an early age.

Breakfast on the beach...what a life Gary! And then you threaten it by sending in the dogs to Angie! <shaking my head>

A blessed Sunday to everyone! Enjoy your day! :)

cathydoe 01-31-2010 11:16 AM

Oh yeah...Gary...remember the cocktail wieners wrapped in bacon? I went to a birthday party last night...and I knew those little doggies would be there...I made a pack with myself...ONLY 4...and I did it! ONLY 4...that is a miracle!! I wonder why there was so many left when we went to leave? :D

So, I've been putting off the "organizing goal" for most of January. I need to dig into the boxes of stuff around my desk. Today. I really have to do this!!! (I'm trying to convince myself) I hate deciding what I should keep, where I should keep it, and what should go away.

But, it is foggy, cold, and still snowy outside. So, this is what I need to do!
