There are rules. You are most welcome to join in, but the important thing is to follow the rules.

Rule 1: Laissez les bons temps rouler - Let the good times roll.

Rule 2: The winner is the person who posts number 499 to allow me to post number 500 - it's a little ritual. Everyone pretends to be trying to post #500 as part of the ritual, but nobody posts #500 until I get there.

Rule 3: Assuage da' Operator lest she blows something up; just like she does in real life.

Rule 4: Assimilate new comers. They stick their toe in, try to figure it out, then just post like they've always been here. It oddly soothes the soul.

Rule 5: There are no rules.

And...now that Bill is a MOD, he can close this thread whenever he wants. Whew! I'm so glad to be relieved of that responsibility.

Basement problem is partially resolved. Mr Sump Pump kept moving around and bumping his hose against the sump wall. I had 6" of water in the basement until we got that resolved. Now I have about 500 pounds of wet cardboard to deal with.

I wonder if you can recycle wet cardboard...

mrsaugie 01-26-2010 08:26 AM

And that is today's thought. Have a good one.

Bill I think we can kill this by Valentine's Day...and then another by St Patrick's Day...or am I being an over achiever?

zanheltangia 01-26-2010 12:41 PM

But I've got an overabundance of pseudo knowledge!!!

:p

lemondrplvr 01-26-2010 12:44 PM

Well it's nice to kinda know what's going on. I'm new to this whole forum junkie status. LOL

So.. um.. A male co-worker/friend left a dozen long stem red roses on under my wiper blade last night! He also left a not saying " here are some flowers, thanks for being a good friend."
