We had thunder and lightning, too. That is rare for California, not rain, but thunder and lightning. We also had a tornado watch ! We are used to rain, floods and earthquakes, but thunder and lightning and tornados !!!! No Way !!!
Hi all...I have been having internet provider problems! Today is suppose to be the big internet provider change day! I am giving the current one the boot! It has been soooooooooooo frustrating!!

My windshield is a bit scraped up from my little mishaps two work mornings in a row. I can only see the scratches in the morning when it's wet though, so that's alright. Crazy floridian that I am, I don't have a scraper for the rare once or twice out of the year that I need it and was running too late to head back indoors for a plastic cup.
A driver's license, credit card or one of the store saver cards make pretty good scrapers if the ice isn't too thick.
Yes, I've dealt with snow and ice my whole life.

Operator, I used a "No tresspassing" sign . But I like the card idea, I will remember that for the next time it happens (probably a year or two from now).
Well, I don't know if CA sent it, but we got a nice downpour of rain this morning. First the sky was gray before it turned orange during our morning meeting, then yellow, than a deep blue before the rains hit. Our pond should gain a few inches that it so desperately needed. Our gator should be happy.
We had the tornado watch yesterday, fairly common thing to hear about in FL.
