Thanks all for the compliments on the new pool. I am anxious to be able to use it this summer. I have gone back and looked at the pictures I took as it was being worked on and it is so hard to believe that big ugly hole in the ground is now so pretty! I ended up taking 65 pics from the beginning to the finish.

I smoked for about 3 years after we were married...she would only allow me to in my downstairs bathroom with the fan on...

All that cuddle time I was dying!!! just flat dying....for one....

yeah, life is much simpler without cigarettes, never have regretted quitting smoking.

Karen - when's the pool party? It looks great! And, loved the 3 bears story-fits my life-gonna print it out and put it on the fridge....not that anyone here would "get" it, though;) Oh, and I remember Early Edition too-it was one of our favorite shows.

Well, the pool guys are here this morning and winterizeng the pool now. I knew I wouldn't be able to swim this year but still kind of sad that it is getting covered. We may have some nice warm days still to come but it won't be warm enough, long enough to heat 20,563 gallons of water warm enough to swim in! Not looking forward to getting the water bill!! At least it won't ever have to be filled again--just water added to it once in awhile.
Hoping that the weather cooperates and we can open it the later part of April and let the sun start warming it up.
