Speaking of boobs...true story...

Several years ago Angie and I are at Home Depot...I go off to pick up some gloves, find them and come back...threw them in the cart when her back was turned...she turns around and says "did you find the gloves?"...I said yes and they were a great price...she says "well grab a pair"...so I grabbed her boobies...just as a lady walked by...saying..."Wish my husband still did that"...I swear it's true!!

Another boobie story...my knucklehead nephew calls his Auntie Angie..."Double A"...both fit....

I may grow up at some point, but, I have no intention of ever growing old.

AR4life 10-06-2009 11:18 PM

I'm not old either, can't age when you don't celebrate birthdays ;)

dutchgirl 10-06-2009 11:21 PM

oh no, I am not growing up! Won't! That doesn't sound like fun at all!!!
I plan to grow old disgracefully and grab all the fun I can have along the way:D

200 . . .

. . . 300 to go.

Operater - Medical Transcription sounds like a great path. It would be fun to learn a whole different vocabulary.

But, hmmmm ...., you do know, don't you, that you are expected to translate and only to translate even when you are d*rn sure that the speaker is an idiot and you could tell the story better, LOL.

I agree, dd goes for her 6yr booster shot. And I have to pick headlice since the babysitting kids had no problem coming here & rubbing and sharing the nasty little critters. I am NOT happy! And ontop of that the kids school fundraiser selling huge chocolate bars.:(

You should have seen me "before" I grew up!

Oh no JULIA.....head lice...my kids had those once....and my little niece a few times when she lived with me years ago...got them at school...

worst part....my son played Little League baseball...back then the helmets were passed around from batter to batter. So of course we have a game....next day I get a note from our school saying head lice is going around...notice later my son scratching head...dang...then I had to call all the parents together the next night at practice and tell them...

Some were like...no problem coach! happens all the time...others were very angry...not so much at my son but because they had dealt with it...

Happy Picking!

Operator265 10-07-2009 11:00 AM

Oh Julia, sorry to hear. Get some Denorex Extra Strength Shampoo to protect those who haven't got them yet. I was able to take care of my DD's with vinegar and Listerene without her losing her hair. The Listerene kills the live ones and the vinegar breaks down the glue that holds the nits. The chemicals didn't do anything for us.

Good Luck.

Geez! Now may scalp is itchy!

Never had to deal with it in kids but did have an almost-white cocker spaniel who got them. I Had to give him baths in this awful purple stuff - potassium permanganate, I think. PTL it was in the summer and I did it outside. That was in the 60s and I swear I still have purple skin cells lurking.

Slashnl 10-07-2009 05:59 PM

Oh ick. Little nasty bugs in your hair. I haven't had to deal with that. It's just an awful thing!

So, Ruth, I guess your white dog became a purple dog!?

Ruthxxx 10-07-2009 09:42 PM

A nice pale mauve like little old ladies' hair - pronounced maw-v around Delta!

Slashnl 10-08-2009 10:10 AM

Poor little dog!

Operator265 10-08-2009 12:11 PM

Kids keep trying to get me to let them "Koolaid" dye our mutt for Halloween. I just think of it as torturing the dog.

bargoo 10-08-2009 12:42 PM

I am sure my dog would not allow Koolaid anywhere near his hair, he would prefer to drink it !
