Smile Bananas!!

Ok. My favorite snack used to be to go to our local Dairy Queen where the owner locally would put banana's on a stick, dip in chocolate and roll them in nuts and freeze them. Oh so good, well I read on here that someone froze bananas in the peel. Well, it was a little difficult to get the peel off, but oh was it worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed my fat free frozen banana treat.

I love frozen bananas! I freeze mine already peeled in aluminum foil, it works really well. You can stick them on a stick and put some fat free chocolate syrup and some walnuts too. Really yummy!

I IM'd you, but just in case you don't notice that you have an IM, do they turn brown when wrapped in aluminum foil?

I freeze them wrapped in cling wrap, no brown here.

I also like zapping a banana in the mircowave or on the foreman grill, just until part of it starts to get gooey. OH so yummy! Sprinkle a litte cinnamon and a spoon of FF cool whip or ice cream and its even better.

omg! I loved those dq frozen bananas too-but i can't find them at any of the stores anymore

and i highly reccommend banana boats- we used to make them with chocolate chips and marshmellows, but baking them with a tbsp of peanut butter is really good too and adds a little protein

I like making couscous (sp?) with a banana chopped up in it and some cinnamon sprinkled on it. Kinda boring but eating just banana makes me feel like I'm going to puke.

And they are good frozen with chocolate definitely.

I like running a frozen banana through the juicer (witht he solid blade piece) and it makes a really good banana whip, similar to ice cream, it's good with a little cinnamon on top.

I freeze mine in plastic wrap or a plastic sealable container. They don't turn brown on me this way.

When my bananas start getting old, I peel them and slice them into a big zip lock bag and freeze them. I like taking the frozen banana and adding to ff plain fage yogurt and a little milk for a smoothie. It's almost like eating ice cream!
