Bummer. Well, I guess that explains why I haven't been seeing it my grocery store. Guess I'll stick with my Trader Joe's bread.

It should stay good for at least a week to two weeks after it is opened. It should be good until at least the freshness date on the package. I use the smell test and the mold test. If I can see mold on it, it's bad. If I can't see any mold and it doesn't smell bad, it's fine. It's like milk, when it has gone bad, it will smell bad.
