Looking for dessert recipe for spaghetti squash - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

We went out of town during the Christmas holidays last year. We went to a restaurant that served spaghetti squash as a side dish. They used Fall/Holiday flavors to season it like cinnamon, etc. It was very good. This past weekend I made spaghetti squash with pasta sauce. I had leftover spaghetti squash. I browned it in a pan and added it to my omelet. It was pretty good, but I could "taste" those holiday flavors in my head. I could imagine using spaghetti squash as dessert. Maybe some type of custard, etc. Does anyone have a recipe for something like this? TIA

Could you substitute it for pumpkin in a recipe?

OMG the power of Google! As soon as I saw your post I remembered a recipe by Sylvia Thompson in the LA Times years ago but could not recall the details. Here is the link. I think the concept could be adapted with lower cal substitutes.
