Default Milled flax seed question

I have heard a lot of people talk about this stuff. Its supposed to be good for you right? I just bought a bread machine and I was picking up some ingredients to make bread. And I picked some of this stuff up to also go inside the dough. How much should I use?

If I'm making bread and I want to add some grains, I'll usually throw in a 1/2 cup. You might need to adjust the water accordingly though, to get the right consistency. It's a bit of trial and error, the bread making
