Rosario ~~ I would love to incorporate Si6 with my current workout of Turbo Jam, but I can't locate my "start it up" DVD. I refuse to buy an entire new set, just for that one DVD. Anyway, maybe I can join you at a later date if I find that dang-blasted DVD. Good luck.

Yes Wendy!!! I'll join you!! I've been meaning to 'Start it up'. I hope this is the little extra push that I need. I love this workout!!! I was doing "Biggest Loser" but I didn't feel like I was getting much out of it.

So tonight while I wait for my chicken to bake, I'll do start it up and the ab routine and if there's time Slim and Limber.

Wendy-hope you've been getting your SI6 in !!!!

bbobsgrl-awww, find that dvd!!!

I've been doing Turbo Jam for a while now and love it. I've been looking for another workout to put into my routine so I don't get bored. Is Slim in 6 something any of you would recommend? I am afraid to spend a lot of money on a boring workout. I like the music a lot in TJ and every other video I've ever seen has the most boring music imaginable and the routines go right along with the music. I don't doubt that SI6 works, I just want to make sure I WANT to do it once I get it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Yes this workout is awesome. Once you get the hang of it and do it diligently (sp??) you feel awesome. Well, I did anyway. It gets me sweating and feeling like I got a really good workout in.

Now I just have to start it up again after my gazillion month hiatus!!!

Thanks for the input. I may just order it. I assume it isn't very high impact, is it? Is Beachbody the only place you can get it or is it in stores anywhere?

I got it in Costco here in Canada!!!
I'd say the Start it up and Ramp it up are not really high impact, Burn it up I don't know, I've never made it that far YET!

Keep up the good work ladies. I'm still looking for my DVD...I'm not giving up looking for it. I almost bought another set on eBay today for $25, but decided to keep looking 'cause I know it's somewhere in my house.

I ordered SI6 from Ebay (MUCH less expensive) last week and got it last night. I watched it last night while I was in bed, preparing myself for what to expect today. The workout LOOKED innocent enough, but WOW does it pack a punch! Those squats are killers. And push-ups??? I can't remember the last time I did those (if ever).

How long did it take you guys to go from Start it up to Ramp it up? And when you first start, is one session of Start it up all you are supposed to do for the whole day or should I do another workout later?

Thanks for your help in advance. I'm just trying to get a handle on this new workout.

Diane

I stick to Start it up for about 4-5 days then go to Ramp it up. I lack coordination so it takes me longer, and I'm asthmatic also, so the cardio gets to me sometimes.
I usually do the SIU and slim in 6 pack and Slim in Limber all at the same time,I like to streach alot!
Good luck to you !!!!!
