Question ChicoMetrics

Hi,

Has anybody heard of and/or tried ChicoMetrics. Apparently it's being advertised as the best way to lose inches without dieting. Personally I don't believe that, nor would I buy the DVD for that reason. The thing that appeals to me is that the exercises are isometric and very low impact. Supposedly good for people even after surgery, which is me I would love to give the DVD a go, but at £30 it's a lot to spend if the thing ends up to be rubbish. So if anybody knows anything about it I would love to hear from you.

Hugs,

Ammi

I had never heard of it until today. Our Wellness center here offers classes. The pamphlet says... " A slow controlled, deep muscle toning, strengthening and flexibility class based on isotonic and isometric principles"

So, I'm actually kind of curious about it too...

Hi Andrea,

Thank goodness somebody else has heard about chicometrics, thought I might have been going mad. If you become so curious that you go along to the class please do tell me how it goes.

Hugs,

Ammi

Ammi, did you eventually end up trying Chicometrics? I just heard of it for the first time the other day. I, too, would like to know more before I consider buying it. There doesn't seem to be a lot of information about it on the Internet, though what information I did find makes it sound a lot like Callanetics. Has anyone here actually tried it?
