Take a day off Carol! (Like I'm one to talk, lol).
So today I went for a bike ride with a group but not in my DH's group. He went for a 65 mile ride that was hilly. There was a 60 mile hilly ride and a 20 mile ride so I did the 20. It was great! There was only four of us so we decided to go an extra 7. It wasn't too fast for me! yay! The thing is in the groups my DH does it is mostly men and they are the type that don't want anyone to pass them, etc. They just go too fast! The lady that led my group today told me about a woman's group that I may start doing. It was two guys, the leader and me. They were all at least 20 years younger than me and I was right with them.
My DH is very sore and exhausted. SO GLAD I didn't do it!
Hope not! I jogged/walked this morning and then did the Leslie flexibility walk. I have pain in my calf, like I had a couple weeks ago but this is the other calf and not in the same place. More on the side than middle of calf, so when I jogged I took it very easy for fear of injuring my knee. Knee doesn't hurt but you know how when you have pain you walk differently and something else starts hurting. I think this is from biking but not sure.
Sharon, hope you and figure it out. My dh is having both knees and a hip replaced this summer. But he is a vet so that happens a lot to large animal vets. He won't retire which I keep asking him to do. ha

What!? I've never heard of having all that done at once. My mom had her knee replaced and that was an 8 week recovery. My friend had the hip and that was easier. But all 3!? I hope it is one after the other.
It felt better during the day! I decided to ice it tonight and I want to try to run tomorrow even though I have strength training after school.
Just finished a grueling grading session. I guess it really only took two hours - but felt like so much longer!
Good!
I think the pain is my it band. I did my strength training yesterday and the trainer mentioned things to do, use my foam roller for one. I never take the time to do it. But I did it last night and this am before I ran and it helped.
So I woke up without pain and jogged for four minutes. I feel it a little bit now, but not bad. Was so thankful I could run. Kept giving thanks while jogging.
