Have you tried the 500 Calorie Workout? I'm alternating this with Cardio Overdrive and Hard Core Fusion. I LOVE The Firm!

Hi LongTallBee - I have not tried the 500 Calorie Workout. I've seen it in Walmart but have never bought it. Cardio Overdrive is one of my favorite ones too.

Today I didn't do the Firm but did lots and lots of walking and stairs.

Hi folks. Just wanted to say hello to Gettinfit and the fans of FIRM. I'm not fun to track with as I've done the same Firm dvd for so long on the same schedule. I do the 500 Calorie Workout, four times a week. I found it in 2009 and used it along with Biggest Loser videos (of that year or older seasons). I also did boxing style videos. After a serious pinched nerve flare up that side lined me, I ended up in PT and very restricted with exercise.

After I started recovering, I started 500 Calorie Workout because I could modify to a low-impact. Once I'd regained some strength, I added ankle and wrist weights while doing this video. I started also moving my arms different to intensify the workout (learned from Biggest Loser dvd Kim Lyons segment)--rolling hands together like boxing up high. I keep adding to this workout and feel super satisfied.

I did get sidelined recently as I seem to have something like a rotator cuff tear in the shoulder. I reduced the weights for my wrist weights and start PT soon.

I always do four times a week but I occassionally have to switch days around depending on what's happening in the week. I also walk a minimum of 3 miles but usually 5 miles a day. From about May to October, my family and I also bike-commute on good days.

Rock on with the Firm. I love it.

Hi Cathy, glad to have you join in with your rotation. I could use the motivation. I can't wait to see how many inches we lose by the end of the month.

iaradajnos - Sorry to hear about your rotator cuff and I hope it heals soon. Sounds like you get lots of good workouts in each week. In addition to doing my Firm workouts, I also need to walk as I have high B/P and my doc wants me to do so.

Hi, ladies. I'd like to join when I remember to post here. Yesterday I did Firm Slim & Trim and Express Cardio. I usually only do Firm workouts or their spinoffs like Fitprime, Tracie Long, and Stephanie Huckabee. I have gotten some pilates and yoga workouts done by other instructors as well.

I did the 500 Calorie Workout today. Boy, did it kill me. My boyfriend and I did a bunch of stairs and ran yesterday. I think I overdid it and my thighs were extra burning today!

Hi. I did my Firm 500 Cal Workout this morning. I adapted my push-ups to hopefully be kinder to my shoulder. The doc said that push-ups aren't the best and not to over do. I was pumping out 9 each time the video said 4, and ready to go to 10. Now, I do one plank for each 4 push-ups. I have PT in two weeks so will learn what else I'll have to modify in order to heal.

I'm working on shortening my time wasting before I hit the "play" button. Sometimes I can waste an hour after I wake up because I don't want to move. Argh! Since it is 64 minutes from warm-up to cool-down, I mess up my morning if I get too lazy. I'll always do it but I can't stand running everything else late.

@iaradajnos I have the hardest time with pushups, so I tried alternating with a couple of planks today, and I must say planks are much harder than I thought they would be. I thought it would be a bit of a break!

Today, I did Cardio Overdrive. I was going to do Tight Buns and Killer Legs but I didn't have the energy for another 30 minutes. So I just repeated one of the cardio segments.

Saturday was supposedly a rest day, but I did a shopping marathon and was at the outlet mall walking around for 5 hours! It was exhausting! So I took yesterday off too.

Today I did Cardio Overdrive and Tight Buns and Killer Legs. I think I pulled my back a bit while exercising today, so I need to take it easy for the rest of the day.

I had the flu for a few days, and I've had nighttime meetings for work so I've missed working out for several days.
Today, I walked 30 mins on the treadmill, and did Firm Upper Body Sculpt and Hips, Thighs, & abs.
