Hi,
I just received Turbo Fire in the mail :) Where did you buy a resistance band with handles to use with the strength workouts? I guess I mistakenly thought it would be included with the dvds. I did receive a green resistance band, though. Thanks! Sherry |
Sherry Hi! I don't know if you bought any tubing yet. I purchased my from Walmart years ago. I think I have seen them at Ross, too.

Hi Diana,
Thanks! I found some at TJ Maxx that I think will work well. I hurt my ankle, so I haven't been able to start the workouts yet. I'm so upset about that. I did initially pick up some tubing at Ross that was labeled heavy resistance, but when I opened the package, it felt like really light resistance. I was able to return it, though. Take care, Sherry |
I just ordered Turbo Fire. I am very excited to get started!

Yesterday was my last day of the Turbo Fire rotation. I will start it all over today since I enjoyed it so much. ;)
The Turbo Fire rotation is 20 weeks, I believe. I have lost 32.6 pounds in that time. Of course I am actively trying to lose weight, but Turbo Fire has made the exercise part more fun. I also want to add, that I followed the rotation, but some days I did more than what the rotation called for. Sherry Sorry to hear about your ankle. I hope it heals quickly. |
Thanks, Diana! I was able to do yoga and upper body strength training today. I will try some light cardio tomorrow. It's feeling a lot better. Congratulations on your weight loss-you are doing so well!
Did you do the high impact in Turbo Fire? I will totally be following the modifier. I can't do high impact. I'm really glad Ali is there. I couldn't do the workouts otherwise! Sherry |

I am working out 6-7 days a week (I am currently in training for a marathon) 2 days=Insanity + yoga(80 minutes) 2 days=Treadmill(1 hour) 2 days=Weight training+some sort of high intense cardio(2 hours) 1 days=Turbo Fire, Cathe friedrich or some other High Intensity workout (1 hour) |
Got my turbo fire in the other day and I finished my first workout today! Fire 30 and stretch 10.
Did anyone start off with the 5 day inferno plan? Im wondering if I should....I just dont have any money right now to buy the groceries for the food part :o |

I didn't follow the food portion of the plan. Can you eat the same calories as the plan but sub the foods that you have? How did you like Fire 30? Right now I am on my second time around of the rotation. I am trying to do more cardio this week because of Thanksgiving. My schedule called for HIIT 20 and Stretch 10. I did HIIT 20 and Fire 45 EZ (2 times). :D |
Questions about the DVDs.
Fire workouts - Are they HIIT, also? Or just straight cardio? Is what's on labeled the DVD THE workout, or are they two separate workouts? for example: Fire 45/Stretch10 (two workouts or one 55 min workout) How Easy is EZ? What are the stretch workouts like? Are they daily or just part of the rotation? Also, do any of you FIRM? If so, they have the new Firm Express (20 min HIIT) DVDs (8 secs high/12 secs recovery). Any thoughts on that? I'm toying with one or the other for Christmas. Need suggestions. |

Do you have Turbo Jam? Are you familiar with Chalene? Some people don't like her. :dunno: The number next to the workout is the minutes of the workout. You asked about the term EZ. I don't think the EZ workouts are any easier. I have heard some people mention that the choreography is easier, but I don't agree with that either. That's just my opinion, though. I don't think the choreography is difficult at all and it flows very well. There is also a New To Class Option that you can do before each workout. It's a tutorial where Chalene goes through the moves and shows you everything that you need to know for that workout. I did not have to use this option. I was able to pick it up very easily because I had already done Turbo Jam. There are Fire workouts: Cardio Fire 30 (w/Fire Drills) Fire 45 EZ (no Fire Drills) Fire 45 (w/Fire Drills) Fire 55 EZ (w/Fire Drills) Fire 60 (w/Fire Drills) There are HIIT workouts HIIT 15 HIIT 20 HIIT 25 HIIT 30 There are also toning and stretch workouts: This is exactly how the DVD's are set up. All the classes are independent of each other. For example Core 20 is a separate workout from Stretch 40. It's not one long workout. You mentioned specifically about Fire 45/Stretch10 (two workouts or one 55 min workout). They are 2 separate workouts. All the DVD's contain Stretch 10. The Stretch 10 workout is the same on all the DVD's. I think they included it on all the DVD's so you don't have to take one out and put another in to do your stretch. It was a good idea. Core 20 Class/Stretch 40 Class/Stretch 10 Class Sculpt 30 Class/Tone 30 Class Stretch 40 Class/Stretch 10 Class Upper 20 Class/Lower 20 Class/Stretch 10 Class Abs 10 Class/ Stretch 10 Class |
