I ordered my first set from QVC and all future dvds I've gotten from ebay. QVC was fast and everything went very smoothly.
As for coordination, it can be a tiny bit tricky at times. There are occasions where I stumble over my own feet, but it's usually when I'm trying too hard. When you just jam to the music, the moves flow really well. There are also a lot of ways to modify it to make it fit your coordination level (ie lower kicks, not turning quite as far into punches).
Finally, turbosculpt. I don't actually do this workout too often. It is a fantastic burn, but I am horrible at lunges and the horse stance. They end up hurting the muscle right at the top of my knee, which I know means I'm doing them incorrectly, but I can't seem to figure out how to do them the "right" way. I normally skip that video and do the booty sculpt, lower body jam, or the 3T. Most of these have the horse stance or lunges, but it seems like the time spent on them is less so I have more fun and I am more comfortable. As for how often, I normally try to make 2 days out of my 4 or 5 workout days toning days, and never 2 days in a row. The alternating gives my muscles a chance to relax and it makes sure I get cardio in as well. Once in a while I'll be really motivated and do a cardio and a strength, but those are rare (I often question my sanity on those days!)
I got this off the BB message board. I don't know what it means yet since I don't have the dvds, but it's supposed to be a good rotation for advanced.

Ok...so I just did cardio party 1
I can see where once i get down the moves ill burn a ton more calories
I still burned a good amount fumbling through it, even by the end of it i noticed i was getting better.
Any thoughts on how long it takes to really get all the moves down?
Oh my!
I just looked on ebay because I realized this is something my mom would really enjoy. So i bought it for her and dear lord i way over paid buying it from beach body. EDIT I take this back. I thought I was getting more than I actually was.
Maybe beachbody is the better way to get it if you're trying to get the whole thing at once, which is what i did.

Babybrowneyes, as long as you do the Learn and Burn until you get your form down and stop the workout when need be, it will help in the long run.
Nomorefatpants, it is so hard to tell someone you will get the moves down in two workouts or in two months because one person might and the other may take longer. I still mess up and I've been doing kickboxing type workouts for 8 years and TJ since September 2005. My favorite saying of Chalene's is that mistakes burn calories - and how true is that?! I know I get in the mind frame that I have to do the workout perfect to burn x amount of calories but that isn't true - even if I mess up, as long as I'm moving my body and getting my heartrate up, I AM burning calories - it's not the cheorography, it's the moving. It's hard for me to go slow, I want to know the workout NOW and jump right in but I've had enough injuries to know that this isn't what is best for your body and FORM is such an imporant thing in any workout. It's always best to try it in front of a mirror too if possible.
I found out that the measuring tape finally started moving down with Turbo Jam when I added the sculpting workouts with a cardio one so for example, when I did Turbo Sculpt and the 20 Minute TJ workout back to back (or 3T and Fat Blaster; Cardio Remix and Booty Sculpt). And you do need to give your body a day in between sculpting/weight workouts to recover when you are working your whole body - you will see more results giving your muscles a chance to recover then you would if you overuse them.
Turbo Jam is the best feeling in the world - it is just a lot of fun and you happen to be working out at the same time!!!

Thanks Rachelle for answering my Turbo Sculpt question. I love doing it, and I am only doing it on Sunday, Tues, and Thurs. I usually do the 20 min then Turbo Sculpt. Oooh am I sore, but feeling good after! LOL. though it's nice to see Chalene feeling the burn with you!
Tinky, something you might want to try sometime is to do the Sculpt first and then the cardio. I need to look at my workout log but I know I did that with a few workout combos I mentioned in my other post but can't remember if this is true for this one or not. Even if I didn't, it still is something you can try for two weeks. There is suppose to be something that if you do the weights/sculpting first, that you aren't tiring the muscles out with the cardio by doing that before the weights.
Might shake things up a bit. The 20 Minute is one of my favorites and that is saying alot since I love so many .
i'm getting the hang of it. I use my HRM whenever I do a workout and each time I do it I burn more calories. I think that's because I spend more time doing the moves and less time being confused
I think I'll try the to put myself in front of my mirror to correct my form. Thanks for the idea!

I've had my Turbojam for a little over a year now. I started out strong. I was doing it almost everyday and in August I went on the road with my husband. When I got back I just couldn't seem to get started again. I've been walking two miles a day with my sister but I'm ready for a little more excitement in my workout and I know TJ is what I need .Being on 3FC also helped me very much. So here I am. Good Luck to everyone on your quest for health and fitness.
Christine, you need to make sure your knee is over your ankle (straight above the ankle) - if you can, do the exercises in front of a mirror. You might be going too deep or not deep enough. I would also search the internet or look in the Shape or Fitness magazine of a picture of those two moves so you have something to look at or put TJ on pause at those moves and double check with your image in the mirror. I have a mirror where I workout but it's not a full length one so I've been thinking of just buying the $6 one to use.

I'm in love with turbo jam. I love the Fat Blaster, even though you're technically supposed to use it for "special occasions"
Oh well.
I did the Cardio Party 1, and wasn't really into it, I'll try it again though.
rai, I don't see your post here but I got it in the e-mail digest. I would do the Learn & Burn until you are pretty comfortable with the moves and more importantly, your form. Then I would move onto the 20 Minute workout for awhile. Then add in the Cardio Party's and Turbo Sculpt. What I found to worked the best for ME (note the "me" as we are alllll different), and this was months of doing TJ without any results (but I was having so much fun, it didn't matter) is doing a Cardio Party Monday, Wednesday and Friday and then the 20 Minute and Turbo Sculpt on Tuesday and Thursday. Course, by the time I figured out to add a cardio workout WITH the sculpting workout, I had Cardio Remix/Booty Sculpt and TJ Fat Blaster/3T to add to the mix and the other cardio workouts to add to my just cardio nights. Then the inches started falling.
