Question Walk Slim Question

I've been doing the Leslie Sansone's 2 "brisk" miles on the 5-mile advanced walk, plus the 1 mile power walk - I like the stepped up pace and I'm becoming a more advanced walker/jogger.

Question: How brisk are the miles in her walk slim series? I'd like to increase my exertion without taking a ton more time in my workout.

Bethel, without a doubt the Walk Slims are more intense. You sound like me - I was doing the advanced fast miles from the 5 miler as well as the 1 mile jog. I wasn't exerting myself anymore. My solution was to add jogging on a treadmill - way harder - I mean way harder. So now I do .5 mile mile treadmill walking and .5 mile treadmill jogging and adding about 2.5 miles intervals from the 4 mile walk slim (a litte video editing). Then I tend to walk the hills with my doggies after work (another 1.5 miles). But if you truly want a harder workout without adding time you'll be best to do the treadmill or find a higher intensity/impact video.
