Boy, you guys are all doing great!!! I had hoped to be back on board today....but my 3 year old daughter was up 3 times vomiting starting at 3 am. I can never get back to sleep once one of my kids throws up. Every little noise I hear after that first time makes me think that they are getting sick again. So I'm even more tired than I was yesterday!! I'm feeling better, still a bit congested, but I know if I can just get a decent nights sleep maybe tomorrow I can be back at working up to the 5 mile again. I'll be happy to just get a 1 mile in right now at this point!!!! Keep up the great work everyone!!

Hello everybody, I am happy to join you all. Looking forward to getting to know you all much better.

I finally got my 1,2 and 3mile express videos with the stretchie band in the mail!!! Actually got it yesterday afternoon. Did the one mile last night and it was easy and quick! So, just now I did it 2x. I guess tomorrow I will try the 2 mile walk.

Just curious, do the longer mileage videos take longer, or do they just go faster? I have another question if I may? Is this the only exercise you do? Do you feel it is enough activity? Okay that was 2 more questions. Thanks.

Good evening! I did the 3 mile WATP Express at 6 am, but had NO TIME to post until now! I am over 50 miles already this month and it is paying off! The scale says I've lost 5 pounds in January!

Sorry this is such a drive-by post.....

rockinrobin, at first it was the only exercise I did. Now because I'm actually fit (wow) I do loads of other stuff. That was my reward for sticking with it. I can now ski and snowshoe again without exhaustion. I don't know which one DVD set you got, but the 1,2,3 that I got was about a 20 minute mile, then 15 minute miles for the 2 and 3 mile ones. I went to the 5 miler and they range between 9:30 to 15 minute miles. Hope that helps.

I got up to exercise this morning - 2 miles walking, 1 mile jogging and the ab lounger. Worked all day except 1 hour, then took the doggies on a 2 mile walk.

Now I'm pooped and on my way to watch the TIVO American Idol from last night.

Well let's see if we can make a go of it this time and not have anything derail me!!! I only did the Muscle mile one with 2 lb weights this morning. Still coughing so I figured I'd better ease into working out again. But I must say I am hoping to do at least a two mile tomorrow. Maybe if I can accomplish enough catch up stuff around the house today I can squeeze in an evening mile tonight.

Good morning! I did the 3 fast miles with the stretchie from the 5 mile DVD PLUS 10 minutes (.53 mile) on the treadmill to get my 45 minutes done!

It's a hectic month, but I've managed to maintain my exercising pace and I'm LOSING pounds!

Hi ladies, I need a good hard kick in the butt now. My exercise has gotten really off track this week. I did do 24 minutes this morning (2 miles) and I did 12 minutes yesterday morning (1 mile), but that's all since Monday, I think.

Edited to add 13 minutes walking during lunch.

Rockinrobin, This is my "main" exercise, but I also do some weight lifting, and occasionally pop in a PUSH DVD for some variety. I want to start bicycling, something I used to enjoy a lot, and I think I'm about ready to start doing that again. I still think walking outdoors, or using the WATP will continue to be my daily exercise.

Keep walking!

Karen, you mentioned strep throat and I specifically remember reading to never exercise with it that it can infect your heart. I don't remember how long ago you posted that but you should really call your dr. office to get the go ahead. I'm usually a proponent of light exercise while a little under the weather but that one really stuck with me. So please be careful.

I did 6 miles on the exercycle this morning with an ab lounge workout too. Tonight I'm going to watch last night's American Idol. Talk to you later.

Did the 2 mile express w/stretchie band this morning. I can finally say I feel really good!! And as much as I'd love to ramp things up I won't for a few days at least to make sure I continue feeling ok. Marie, it seems as if I had read something along those lines as well so I will definitely be careful. Even though I'm doing the workouts I'm not pushing myself as far as making the movements more intense like I normally do.

Glad to hear that Karen. I'm glad you're starting to feel better.

I did the 1 mile jog 3 times this morning as well as the ab lounger.

Good evening! I did the 3 mile abs workout this morning at 6am! I'm very impatiently waiting for my new Walk Slim system from Leslie Sansone to arrive. I was cheap and chose USPS, and since it's heavy,it's going parcel post. I should have paid the extra $4 to get it UPS! I want my new workouts!!!

Have a great weekend!
