I should have gone to bed when I said I was gonna ... the movie was over and the fella's flipped to a hockey game. I can read in front of that. I joined then ... and the cheerios. I haven't added them yet but ... I'm most certainly well over that 1400!
I still work in a small community hospital. Patients love to send us food. We work 8's still but can be sent home after 4 if it's quiet. That's what happened last night. That's OK, I kinda like it ... but not all the time. I like my pay cheque too.
I really enjoy having a long off stretch. I can plan my day and fit some exercise in wherever I want ... eat whenever I want ... nap!
Okay, I ate and ate and ATE yesterday. Including things like pork roast, chocolate, and butterscotch chips that aren't on ANY diet plan. AND several glasses of wine.
And today? Weight down.
I think I may have discovered my own peculiar brand of "calorie cycling" - one low cal, hi fiber day to create the calorie deficit, followed by a hi protein hi calorie day to convince my body it can actually let the weight go. ???
SusanB - I looked up Varna, ON on the map last night. Basically the intersection where two streets meet, eh? But I told my husband I want to drive out there one day - just b/c it is VARNA!

Sure is quiet around here today. I've been mostly good on the speedbump thing. Rode the stationary bike in the morning and ate lots of vegetables. I don't see a flicker on the scale, though. Hmmm.

Hi. I am here typing on shear exhaustion. Didnt sleep all that well then worked my second 12 in a row. Happily i am off tomorrow. I thought i had a better day until i plugged my numbers in. Tracking cals online is helping.To aviod my pitfall of allowing myself to get too hungry on arrival to home..i ate more freq smaller meals through out day. I left work not hungry at all, or at least not famished. Hubby had gotten chinese take out this time. Had bowl of won ton, about 1 cup of pork lo mein, ( this according to fit day did me in cal wise). My goal for tomoorow is to hit tread mill in am. Can tell ya all right now I will be consuming tons of liquid cals tomorrow eve. Friends are having annual costume party. As married mom of 2 I dont get out much so when i do get to go with the girls, especially when its all you can drink, i get my moneys worth. My goal will be to eat light all day and exersize to balance it out. I also plan on dancing my a** off. ( good cardio) I havent weighed myself since i started this journey but im aiming for a weigh in monday am.
2 questions: how many cals a day do you aim for?
Dont want to name names but does anyone else track cals online? I have been doing a free one but for 20 bucks can upgrade. I think it would be easier if had more listing for restaraunts, etc. I had to plug in nutritian data for chinese food and this took awhile to google info.

healthy--I also use Fitday (the free online version) and I aim for about 1200 calories per day. I know that is low, but I don't get much of any exercise in at all. I hope that changes in a couple months when DD gets her driver's license and I don't have to drive her to school in the morning--that kills a whole hour! Have fun at your party tonight, but you might want to eat a little carb before you go so the alcohol doesn't do you in too fast. I have a costume party tonight also, plus DD has her homecoming dance which we may have to pick her up from, so I'll have to watch what I drink.
My scale this morning showed 137! Haven't seen that number in over 5 years! I'm not changing my ticker just yet, though--it may be a fluke because I slept in.
Good Morning my dears! I'm all dressed for church and forgot to weigh myself. But I did do a BF measure yesterday and I think it's maybe a hair better.
Sometime this afternoon, I'm going to fiddle with fitday and see how I've done in general this week. Then maybe come up with something to focus on next week.
Hmmmm ... average in 1736 ... average out 1903 .... and I probably should eat again today.
I biked twice, walked every day and lifted six times. Oh I haven't lifted today either.
Definitely room for improvement.
I'm at average in 1605, average out 2428 for the week. And that's with a major Halloween party Saturday night. I worked out six of seven days for at least an hour, and am down two pounds Sunday to Sunday. So. . .slow but good.
Now I need to STOP EATING for the night so that what I just told you remains correct!!
