Hello! My weigh in was ok. I stayed the same. After 4 days of hour and twenty minute work outs that's a little disappointing, but better than a gain I guess. I'll skip the weigh in next week, there's no point to that. Tina and I will work out when we can, but I will not worry about calories on Thursday!

What all does everyone have planned for next week? We (my family, and my two brothers and their families, 18 of us total) all go to my mom and dad's for Thanksgiving. My mom is THE best cook and her turkey and all the sides are so good! I know I probablly shouldn't be going on about food but what else is Thanksgiving, if not good eating?

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday! In case I don't have time next week, I help out my mom with shopping and cooking, etc. I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! Take care!

Hello ladies! Well this weeks weigh-in was much better..137 even so 1.5 pounds down from last week and feeling good about it. I have never hit 137 even my lowest was 137.5 so proud of that. I am going to try my hardest to hold steady during the holidays and try and get in as many days of exercise as I can. This weekend I have a birthday party tommorow and then Sunday is a girls day out filled with Christmas shopping, movie, and dinner, and I can't wait. I love those kind of days out with the girls and no kids or husbands. I am hoping the sun will make a show sometime this weekend. It has been gloomy here for like 5 days in a row. That is about it for me. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and if I don't get back here A Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hey girls!!! I finally found a minute (that I'm not too exhausted) to sit down and give a shout out!!! Work is going well, although they have been scheduling me too many hours, money is good though, but.....I was only expecting 25 hours and I'm almost up to 35 now with 40+ for the month of December. I have to have another talk with my boss I guess. I lost another 3 lbs this week, I guess all the walking and OP food and being dog dead tired when I come home is paying off. huh?? oh well, nice to see some low numbers again on the scale!!

Guess it is that time of the year...yum yum TURKEY TIME!!! Wish I loved eating it though, dh absolutely has to have it for Thanksgiving. ME? just give me a big whole hunk of ham!!! mmmm Sorry I have to get caught up with the last few days of posts. Just briefly.....

Susan....sounds like a good match to me too!! Hope it all works out for you.
Tina....wooohooo on the 137!! an all time low, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
LuvVegas.....I wouldn't worry about the maintain, you have rocked the workouts and IT WILL SHOW!!! wtg
Canadianmom.....YIKES...a reunion? good luck with that!!

So glad you checked in, Angel.....hope the job calms down to a do-able level.
Sounds like your back on target, Tina, way to go on the 137! Luv Vegas, holding steady's better than gaining, and you may be just retaining water....all of a sudden it may drop. Canadian Mom, hope all is well.

I'm off to Nashville tomorrow for Thanksgiving....want to wish you all a very, very happy thanksgiving.

So I hope you all have a relaxing Thanksgiving and try and take a moment to remember what you really are thankful for. I know for me, mine and my families health that is most important to me. Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!

Good morning ladies! How was your Thanksgivings? Mine was not what I hoped it would be. I had my husband and oldest son home and me and the little ones went to Thanksgiving. My oldest son is sick, he has penoumia. It just felt really off not to have my whole family together. This weekend I did get the house all decorated and Kevin got the outside all done so that is good. It was a really mild weekend here so a great time to be outside. It feels good to have the house done and it looks really nice. Well I think I ate enough to last me until Christmas. I have to put on the brakes until Christmas or they will be asking me to get into the Santa suit. This weekend I am going to see The Christmas Carol at Duruy Lane. I am really looking forward to that. Starting today the gym is going to be my new best friend and I went shopping yesterday so I have lots of veggies and fruit. I feel like I need a cleansing to get all the junk out of me. Well I hope you all had a great holiday. Take Care!

hiya everyone,

I'm 19 and student. I have been following slimmingworld for sometime but recently hit a little stumble...i haven't gain and i havent lost...so i decided to adapt my eating to make it a lil more WW Core and that has worked fantastic..ive also limited snacks by just having fruit 5 a day and drinking 2-3Litres of water everyday. I also excercise 4 times a week doing Tae Bo 3x a week and swimming for 1hr and a half on satutrdays. This is my new way of living..Last week i had a loss of 2lbs and am now looking forward to this weeks loss..i'm onl weighing on sundays as i'm a scale addict and trying to kick this habit...being on this site has made me realise it's not just the numbers..cos now i feel healthy and in control.thanks for listening everyone.See you at the finish line... I'm hoping to drop the last 15 in december and january

Hi all, am back from Nashville and wayyyyy tooo much rich food. Was hard to stay under control since I was not in my own house, and was busy taking care of grandbaby and helping with the packing for the kids' move and cooking for Thanksgiving. But now I'm back, trying to get my sleep patterns back on target, and my eating under control.

Welcome Slimmingworldchick, sounds like you have a really good plan working for you. So glad you decided to join us.

Angel, thanks for checking in.....how long can you keep up working like this???? Does it leave you time for a life?

Tina, hope everyone has stayed healthy and that your son is recovering....it's hard when Thanksgiving traditions are broken....I know my son wasn't there this year as he was on vacation in Thailand/Cambodia/Vietnam, and I really missed him.

Canadianmom, don't you feel great about those jeans?! How is you DH doing? Did the tests come back ok?

LuvVegas, how are you doing? How was your thanksgiving?

Susan

Hello! It's not even December yet, and I already feel like a hamster on a wheel. We had a really nice Thanksgiving at my mom's (other than the fact that my brother and godson couldn't be there). Then we spent Friday with my husbands family and then the rest of the weekend was spent decorating. I'm getting close, but I'm not done quite yet and now I have my mom wanting me to help her with her second tree. I never mind helping my mom, but after putting up four trees of my own, it just doesn't sound like much fun. But I'll get there and things will look beautiful and the payoff will come when we can sit and relax and enjoy the decorations, and I really love that! I've had an awful weekend as far as eating all kinds of goodies (who didn't do that this past weekend?) and no exercise, but as of Monday I'm pretty much back on track. I had one incident with a bag of Sour Patch Kids, but I've moved on and I'm back on track.

Susan- Sounds like you had a nice trip! I know what you mean about the rich foods. It feels so good to wake up this week and not still be full from the night before! I was so bloated over the weekend. It feels good to be back to regular eating.

Angel-Are you hanging in there? They're working you like crazy! Sounds like you're doing great with weight loss, so that's one good thing, right?

canadian mom- I know it's bad, but don't you love when your size matches someone who you thought was sooo skinny before? Tina and I have a sister in law who always flaunted how thin she was when we were pretty big girls and now the tables have turned and she's now in the same size or an even bigger one than we are. I know it's not nice to be like that but...

Tina- Are you doing those weights???

Slimmingworldchick- Sounds like you're doing great so far! and Good luck!

LuvVegas~wow 4 trees I am luky to keep ornaments on 1 tree with the little ones around! My MIL is not like that but it does feel good. It must feel really good to 1 up her lol.

artmaker~ We have started our shots (1 shot a week each for 3 weeks) we will not know anymore until he sees the speacialist in January, even then we will probably have to wait until he has a biopsy done (and that could be a looooooooooooong wait) until we know hoe advanced it is and if there is anything else wrong with his liver.

Tina~ I hope your son is feeling better.

angel~ don't overwork yourself!

SlimmingWorldChick~ Welcome, you seem to be doing VERY well. Congrats.
