Happy June!

I'm not putting a goal other than to stay at 120 lbs on my heavier scale. I would be thrilled to maintain at aything under 120, like 118-119 :)

Official weigh-in for Sunday, June 14: 106.6

Made weight! Even with an up day last Sunday. So the new system is working: 1200 calories each day, Monday through Friday, water fast Saturday, weigh-in Sunday morning, followed by an up day on that Sunday. Had to work out one hour to take off two-tenths of a pound to get to 106.6.

Took some measurements, so I'm going to compare them to measurements for the last several months, to see the progress:

For June 14, 2015:

Body fat percentage (according to Weight Watchers scale): 20.3%
Chest: 33"
Waist: 27.62"
Hips: 33.75

BMI: 19.5

Measurements, 4/11/15:

Body fat percentage (according to Weight Watchers scale): 21.4%
Chest: 33.5
Waist: 28.75
Hips: 34.25

BMI: 20.04

3/6:

Chest: ~33.5
Waist: ~29
Hips: ~34.75

2/27/15:

Chest: 33.25
Waist: 29
Hips: 33 & 7/8 (33.87?)

2/20?/15

Hopefully the 1200 calories/day is something more sustainable so you don't have to be as hungry :)

Well, my celebration was short lived, thanks to a weekend with friends visiting. But, I'm hoping most of this is water weight and will come off within a few days and I'll be back under 140. TMI WARNING, but I haven't had a BM in like 4 days, so lets hope once that happens, I will lose a bit. It is very frustrating to feel like I'm carrying around extra "weight" by not having a BM.

Thank you, Jen. :hug: It is nice to wake up knowing I'll be getting a "hefty" 1200 calories that day. Definitely less hunger pangs, though I tend to bunch the calories together.

Good question about the 2400 on Sunday. I considered doing that. But it's nice having two days - a fast day on Saturday, and an up day on Sunday - where I don't have to count calories. I made goal not counting them from last Sunday, so I'm just going to keep on not counting Sunday's calories, at least for now. ;)

I'm not sure why I have such fluctuation... I have been pretty consistent with my diet. Oh well, maybe a bit too much sodium or something.

So much for my "finally"! Now, the weights from the last two weeks are pretty much 1st morning, but not having emptied bowels. Just haven't been near my scales at those times. But still- argh!!!!

I have a weekend trip starting today, then I am planning to give my full attention to dropping some weight before another trip next weekend. I "only" want to lose 1.2-2.4 pounds by July 1 ......... theoretically possible if I don't go overboard on the weekends. Unfortunately I have entered a ravenous phase grrrrrrrr :hungry:

Coming out of the weekend only gaining .2 is a win in my book. Had only 1 cheat (chips and queso!) and 2 sodas. Otherwise I was good. Also, my injuries have been staying away, so I have been able to start running again which is great. But, if I want to meet my goal of 138 by the end of the month I need to kick it in gear.

Oh, Feathers, what a mess I've made of June!

I was out of town for the 13th-14th, and came home to visiting inlaws. My inlaws are wonderful people but their visits are stressful to me for various reasons. So, binges. I've also been taking a break from running due to injuries/illness. Yesterday, I started my day with a decent 4-mile run and ate well, but by bedtime my foot was throbbing so painfully I could barely walk. Today, not much better. I know it's 80% food, 20% exercise, but for me, I really rely on exercise so I can eat more. It's going to be hard for me to lose if I can't work out. So today I'm wallowing in self-pity. Welcome to my pity party! :hat:

A better party would be to celebrate all the success everyone here is having -- kudos, ladies, for your commitment -- and the results that follow!

Felt ill over the weekend and ate all kinds of off-plan foods. I don't think I was "bingey" but it was definitely too much, not nutritious, and very high in carbs/fat with very little protein :(

same7 - sorry about your bad month. At the minimum though you appear to have figured out how to maintain in the low 130s... I hope you find your mojo again soon. It is so exhausting to be constantly thwarted from achieving one's goals, that I know for sure.

Alexistrophic - did you find 3 pounds of water as well? Let's make our newly found pounds disappear quickly - as in THIS week. I had aimed to make my goal for the month by this Friday, when I am going away again on a trip for 5 days.

TBCourt - I WISH I had only gained 0.2 pounds from the weekend!! You were great to stay so close to your plan. I need to figure out better strategies for when I am with others on my trip next week. I am very afraid of undoing all my hard work of the last 8 weeks...
