So interesting... so on your fast days, do you eat nothing or ~500 calories? I do full-day fasts occasionally, which are almost the only thing I have found that can "reset" myself from binging. It is hard, but feels so good the next day. I always feel amazing when I wake up the next day, regardless of how starving I felt the night before. I eat nothing on these fast days - which would be ~36 hours, from dinner one night until breakfast two days later - but do have coffee/tea and that will include some almond milk so the total for the day would be 40 calories or less.

Thank you all for your inspiration!
We are similar stats! Let's kick the 140s butt

. It takes me forever to get out of the 140s, as this is apparently my new set point (used to be 120, then 125, then 130 and so on... creeping up with age until I was hovering in the low 150s for most of this year). I did maintain 135 for some time not that long ago so that is my main goal. (First red-line goal: 139 ... super-longshot goal: 129.)
I am not familiar with the 17 day diet but I will look it up. When I am on plan, I am either on South Beach (but with lower carbs than they generally recommend) or I was trying Ideal Protein, which worked great until ...

quoting myself here... umm nope, didn't stick. I traveled to a conference, went off the rails due to poor planning and thinking I could "handle it"... now binging has returned

and I am up to
145.0 today. ARGGGGG. Nearly SEVEN pounds more than I was earlier in September. Buckling down today and hopefully back on track tomorrow.
