I haven't even been trying, but set a new low on the scale... 130.8! Pretty happy that couple pound gain didn't stick. Just been eating the daily veggie-centered meal and reigning in the sugar. Also been drinking a lot of Kava, which requires fasting and kills my appetite. Hope this keeps up cause I don't want to try anymore. lol |
Well, I've now been at 130lbs for the past two mornings, so it seems like yesterday wasn't a fluke. Almost out of the 130s!

Totally confused by my weight the past few days as I went all the way back up to 137.6 yesterday. Back down to 137.1 today but was at a solid 136 just a few days ago. Darn you body why can't you do what I want you to? :)
These next few weeks are going to be challenging. School is ending and I work from home. So that means my 5 year old and a babysitter will be at the house. Will it mean I eat less or that I just run downstairs from my office and grab whatever is easiest to shove in my mouth? I"m thinking of actually 'packing a lunch' to bring upstairs with me - ha! As much as I love summer I'm already looking forward to the end of it so I can have 'my' routine back! Only Me & Astrild - congrats on almost being out of here! crazygurl61 - congrats on the 134! That's awesome. |
My whoosh seems to be over and I've been stable at about 130lbs (=/- maybe .5lb) every morning since. I've been perfectly on plan, with no planned splurge days until the 17th (father's day), but my body seems to like to stabilize for a week or more and then whoosh out 3-4lbs in less than a week.

I weighed 130.5 today... Just .5lbs til I'm out of here. I guess I'm excited, but the 130s have been a comfort zone for me for so long... I know it's just a number, but I'm trying to just accept the 120s slowly... so I don't freak out and stuff my face. lol It's hard to explain, and probably doesn't make sense. |
Astrild - you are so so close!! Great work. I know what you mean about not getting too excited and going overboard. My clothes fit a lot better now and some are even getting terribly loose, so it's hard to not think, "what will this piece of candy do??" I have to remind myself of the long term goal.
Only Me - stable is good! Nice work on staying there and on plan. Astrild & crazygurl61 - I just made the connection to my stall the past week. Umm, I'm right around ovulation and I had gained 2.5lbs. it magically went away this morning, so I'm back down to 136 now. Looking back at my calendar and daily weigh ins, my water gain seems to happen right before expected ovulation. I don' know the exact dates, but I have an app that tracks my periods so it gives me a good idea of when I'm supposed to be ovulating. Some weird primal getting your body ready for a baby thing? Who knows? Just glad that water weight is gone. Happy to be at 136 today. Trying not to let my work stress bother me and excited to get to the gym/yoga this weekend. I've been trying to be as active as I can this week as my husband is working every night. I get off work, need to take care of my 5 year old and then he's in bed. I've done some video workouts and yesterday went for a run on my lunch hour. Have an eye doctor appt this afternoon so likely won't get a mid-day workout/walk in. |

Astrid I agree our bodies are strange.. I think with us being women and the water weight etc.. plays a part.. me too was thinking about having a splurge day to celebrate when I hit 128 but then I'm thinking don't ruin all your work.. however I will allow myself one free day a month to eat whatever as I'm moving on with the GI Diet as a life time plane, which is doable for me once I hit 128.. It has taken me sometime to get to 133 so I can imagine these last 5 pounds won't be quick as well.. |
Weighed in at 135.1 this am. Not sure why but I'll take it. Perhaps the weekend and stress being lifted by not having to go to work today? Getting ready for yoga then enjoying the rest of the day. Have a great weekend!

:carrot: Yesterday I weighed 129 and this morning it was more like 128.5, but I'm calling it 129 for now. :carrot: I will never figure out my body. I do not usually lose weight in the last couple of days leading up to TOM. :?: I'm confused, but hey, I'll take it. Now just to stay out of the 130s. I haven't been this weight for about 6 years.

I was down to 135 both days this weekend but this morning back up to 136.7. I was active and ate well this weekend, so not sure why. Maybe water weight because I was outside and it was sooooo hot? Who knows. Just hoping it slides down tomorrow. |
Hi Everyone. I am up to 136.4, which puts me at a 0 loss/0 gain for the week. TOM arrived yesterday which was a few days earlier than expected...also make sense for why the scale was up this week and I was STARVING for junk food. Le Sigh.
I am hoping after TOM I will be back in the 134's...just in time for a 5 day business trip to San Jose. I did pretty well on my Anaheim trip last month but this time there are no amusement parks to keep me moving...I'll have to watch alchohol/cals. |
