125.something (4 i think?) today!!!

I think the last couple pounds are dropping off quickly. I am Intermittent Fasting, ate a very small late lunch, and a small dinner. I find when I eat less throughout the day my appetite is smaller in the evening. IF works wonders for me. Too big of a slice of cake for dessert, but that's okay.

123 by next week? (Fingers crossed)

Posting here to remind myself (and others who may be interested) how USEFUL intermittent fasting is.

I only had one cup of coffee and a cup of chai (both with a splash of milk and about 1/2 tbs of sugar each) until 2 PM. Had some Morningstar veggie links, peanut butter, and a banana for lunch, followed by a few bites of a lemon tart our neighbor gave to us.

It's now 5:15 PM and don't even WANT the rest of the lemon tart, or anything else. It's not even hard for me to resist it. I don't want anything.

I'll have some more protein and veggies (egg masala curry + sauteed carrots and green beans) for dinner and come out about 1200 calories for the day.

It's one of those days that will be fine if I stay in control... but I haven't set myself up well for a good rest of the day.

Sauteed veggies and some egg masala for lunch. Ate a small piece of cake and some Pringles afterward . Not smart.

Went to the gym just now and lifted for the first time in a couple weeks. I desperately needed to- I was feeling blobbish all this week.

Have GOT to have a sensible dinner with NO DESSERT. I'm thinking yogurt and some berries.

Hoping, hoping, hoping I can make sure the rest of the day goes okay...

125!!! 125!!!

I ate another small slice of cake last night, which I didn't want to do but I ended up doing anyway. I made it so I know it isn't *too* terrible- made with whole wheat flour, yogurt instead of oil, but I also know how much coconut milk and sugar went into it as well.

Anyway, feeling very good this morning. Maybe my muscles are holding on to a few tenths of a pound of water weight, which actually means I'm 124something...?

124 next week. Definitely. Determined. I think I can do 121-122 by the end of the month of I REALLY stay on track.

Continuing to post for accountability

I did a great lifting workout today. My legs are tired. I have really gotten into lifting over cardio.

I'd rate my eating these days at a B or B-. It's not bad, but it could be MUCH better. Yesterday I had yogurt, flax, and raspberries for lunch, then two Morningstar Veggie Sausage Links for a snack, 1 tbs of peanut butter for another snack, and dal (a HUGE serving) for dinner.

That would have been all well and good except that I also ate: about half of my fiance's parantha (fried bread) for dinner, 2 cookies after dinner, 4 Twizzlers, 2 sour punch straws, and a couple of handfuls of Cinnamon Toast Crunch after that.

Not terrible, but not good. How many extra calories would I have avoided if I hadn't gone in my snacking fest post-dinner??

Maybe I need to start posting on an accountability thread.
