Default Lunges and Squats

Hi all!

I dont know if anyone can answer this but I thought I'd ask anyways. I really want to tone up my back legs, back upper legs, and butt. From about the back of the knee all the way up to my butt. I heard the best exercises for this are lunges and squats. I absolutely hate the gym and it is just not something that I can sustain. It is just too boring for me. Anyways, my question is; is it possible to tone those areas just by doing lunges and squats 5-6 days a week and not spend an hour in the gym lifting weights? Like lets say 6 sets of 15 lunges and 6 sets of 15 squats?

I have sort of asked questions like this before but I still dont quite understand..

Yes there are a lot of things you can do without having to lift any weights for that area. You can do walking lunges...start with maybe 20 each way and then rest for 1 min. Then do wall sits....back flat against the wall and drop down until your legs form a 90 degree angle. Hold for 30 seconds and do that 4 times. Leapfrog squat jumps are great as well. If you have p90x, the plyometrics disc have a ton of things that just use your legs to squat and jump. You can probably go online and see videos for a ton of different exercises and then set a schedule that you can follow.

If you can get that disc, it will kick your butt into gear...literally!! I have them and am going to add that disc twice a week starting this week into my workout routine. You will get great results!

Ive heard all about p90x. I dont have the cd's and cant really afford them. I heard they are an hour long and really intense. Couldnt I just do like 30 minutes of legs on my own? lol I like the wall sits idea! Thanks for your feedback!

Found this and it might be helpful since it shows you how to do a ton of things with your legs. If one your friends have te p90x, burn the Plyo disc!

You should google KETTLEBELLS. You can do all sorts of squat variations and have a kettlebell at home to add resistance without going to the gym
