I can't get a ticker yet :( Soon, tho

No I don't. If I have a gain I will post it. The ticker is one of the things I use to keep my self accountable.

nO.....

I only change it when it is down. I don't consider it lying just not changed. Easter was bad for me. I didn't even eat turkey. Not happy with what the scale said today. But tomorrow should be at my ticker weight again.

Ticker keeps me focused!

No, I don't lie on my ticker. When my weight has gone up it really irritated me to have to have to post that. But, I did it anyway and found it gave me a kick in the pants to get myself back on track! :kickbutt:

I don't change it every day. But if it has changed in either direction and stuck for a few days, I change it. I might make a few days last a bit longer when it's staying up before changing it.

I change my ticker once a week. I post my current weight - up or down. That being said, I have been known to round a couple tenths to the whole number (currently at 147.2 for instance).
I agree with the others, it is my accountability system. I will also add that - being menopausal, my weight does not fluctuate nearly as much as it used to, so I rarely have gains to post.

I don't lie about my weight, to myself or others.

I haven't gained over .5 pounds in a week, at least while being active on the site (guess thats a good argument for staying active in these forums huh!), and that has been during TOM so I don't see the point in adjusting it for what is definitely water weight. I weigh myself more frequently than once a week, but my 'official weigh-in' is on Fridays and so I stick to that number, even though that scale weighs me at a pound and a half to two pounds more than the home scale!
