If OP is "on plan" then how do we short form "off plan"?
I went to a BBQ party last night and could not stay OP (on plan). Everyone brought something along and the only thing brought for appetizers/salads that didn't have oil or full fat dairy was my watermelon (a creation that my DH worked on for over 2 hours - he can be a good guy when called upon). People would have been offended if I didn't try their stuff.
I just took small helpings of things and got away with having only 2 samosas (I had to leave the room for a bit to stop myself they were sooo good

). The BBQ part was much better - souvlaki, pitas, and tsatziki. Ate the souvlaki and pita plain.
Dessert was served and I had some. It was great and I enjoyed it!

Sometimes it's ok to go "off plan". I knew I could compensate today and I am doing so. No guilt or remorse necessary. Just get up the next day and begin the diet anew (as long as I don't do that every day

)
