So I am trying to figure out what I did last year to lose weight that I am not doing now. I think I found it.
Music! I haven't been using my ipod. But this week I put it back in and I can't tell you how the motivation is back. It is just enough to give you that little extra umph in exercise or motivation not to cheat. (for me usually when bored and waiting)
My favorite song is "show me your firetruck" from the Backdraft soundtrack. Very motivational.
I work around people all day, so it feels so indulgent to go to the gym by myself, plug into my iPod, and work out! I love it. When I have forgotten it, my workouts never seem to be as good.
I flip-flop a lot, but my current favorite is the classic Gloria Gaynor "I will survive."
i like anything catchy (that i can mouth the words to..makes time for faster, for me ), with a fun beat..gets me really motivated!
