Hi all featherweights!
I've been lurking here for a few weeks, waiting to post until I felt like I had enough diet time under my belt to feel like it really was "for real this time" (hence the user name!)
I'm 5'3, 43 years old, a (currently) stay-at-home mom of 2 school-age boys. I hate the gym!

I've dieted on and off since I was about 15, and have always been chubby at the least. Between pregnancies, I spent too much time in the 150-160 lb range.
Most recently I started dieting again on Jan 8. I log all my food and exercise, and I'm trying to focus on eating healthy while not going over 1200-1300 cal per day. I have a treadmill which I use about 45 minutes, 4-5 times per week.
I lost 3 lbs easily last week (mostly water I know) and I know that now the hard work is really beginning. So I'm hoping to continue to get hope, inspiration and good advice from this terrific bunch!
