Default I'm a newbie!

I've ordered the book, and tried to gather as much information as I can until it comes. From what I understand the first 9 days is fruits, vegetables (non starch variety), brown rice, skim milk & yogurt (non fat/plain)...am I on target with this?

Can someone tell me

1) Are bananas allowed?
2) The limit on the skim milk & yogurt?

Thanks for your help!

Default I'm a newbie too!

I have not gotten the book yet either - but have been lurking on this site for about 2 weeks now.

Hopefully someone will chime in here and help us out!

Have a great day!

Welcome! Yes, you can have bananas (thank goodness or I would be in trouble) and the limit on your skim/low fat or soy milk is 2 cups a day. Remember when you use it for other things to add it all up. You can have 6 oz. of plain low fat yogurt 2 times a day. Eat all the fruit and veges you want (but dont stuff yourself), you can have 2 cups of brown rice day, 1 cup of oatmeal, 4 egg whites, 2 cups of herbal tea, and drink, drink, drink water. Good luck to you. I have been successful and this is my first time trying a diet.

Beans are unlimited (kidney, black, navy, etc.) and you can also have tofu.

Your very welcome. I have been doing fat smash a little over 2 weeks. I have went back to phase 1because I cheated with my kids over the weekend. I have lost 10 lbs and I am bumping up the exercise this week so I hope it helps. My goal is to lose another 10 lbs by Christmas. This diet is easy, the hardest thing for me was the salt. I have learned to eat combinations I would have never thought of before and I am enjoying it. Good luck to you!
