Default Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies

Hi everyone..I was getting ready to make some cookies tonight, and I decided to use canned pumpkin instead of the banana's and they turned out really good. I did add a little extra splenda and pumkin pie spice. I think I like the banana one's better, but considering the holidays and if you dont have the banana's on hand, works well..

Its the Oatmeal Cookie recipe in the Recipe Thread, and I just Used the Pumpkin instead of the banana's. For a 2 cup batch I used about 1/3 of a big can(28 oz) of pumpkin, and Instead of the cinnamon I used Pumpkin pie spice. I didnt measure anything I just tried to get the consistency the same as the Original Version.

I did the same -- I also add some raisins and apple. They don't stick together too well so I make "bars" and bake in a small "brownie" dish. YUMMERS!

wow, i just read the recipe and made them just now. I just took them out, and they do taste really good. I used the banana. I had a very ripe one, so I used it. I want to try the baked apple w/the oatmeal recipe. This plan is nothing like I thought. You can have good taste and still detox!

I used pumpkin, no banana, and no sweetener. I also used my steel cut oats. Yuk! Next time I'll add a banana and some Splenda (not sure if my Stevia will bake properly).
