Red face New to this site and a new "Smasher"

Hello all! Glad to have found this board. I have just started day 2 of this new journey. I hope to do as well as some of the posts I read.

I am on day 2 of Phase 1 and I am doing better than I thought I would. I do have slight headaches.

The book said you can eat all the vegetables you want. Is there still a reasonable limit? I made some Black-Eyed peas and brown rice. I had two bowls and I am stuffed. Did I mess up?

i am also on day 2, well, almost day 3. it's so late here. but i have had no headaches or problems. i love this. can't wait to weigh in on Nov. 1st.

Vegetables are unlimited. Brown rice should be limited to 2 cups daily. However, you probably shouldn't eat until you're "stuffed."

Last night I prepared a bowl of a bit more than a cup of a spicy bean mixture (dark red kidney & black beans) & 1 cup of brown rice. I could only finish about half of it (yesterday was day 6 of Phase 1). I put the rest away.

I've noticed that when I get back on track to eating healthy (I am a binge eater), my fullness alarm kicks in to where I can notice it before I get stuffed. It's a nice feeling.
