Default P2-P4 did cravings go away?

I am at day 4 of phase I and I have had cravings for a cheeseburger all day. Yesterday it was for a candy bar. I'm hoping that they really do eventually go away and I'm proud of myself for sticking with the plan. So give me the good the bad and the ugly do they really go away??

just hit phase 3... we do have a cheat now and then. I almost broke down into tears a couple weeks ago I wanted CHOCOLATE so bad! My weight have leveled and I was so sick of salads. We stopped at the grocery store that night and each picked out one dessert at the bakery. I never savored a dessert so long in my life! I needed that. I was ok after. If we do a cheat once every week or two I think it helps get me through the tough spots. I haven't been craving fast food, but I loved having a small steak when day 10 came around!! I miss cake. bad. but occasionally it's someone's birthday. I just try to make sure it's rare. Then we hop back on and follow the rules. I usually hit the exercise more and have a day of phase 1 as "punishment". I've been good at rebounding well, but without Eric doing it with me I can see how one could easily just fall off ... it's not difficult for me to eat rows of oreos... and damn I'm thirsty for a chocolate shake. That might have to be my next week's cheat

DVRs are wonderful, I have to forward over all those delicious restaurant/pizza commercials!

I'm not sure I have the will power to cheat then get back on again, at least not yet. I told my DH that I never noticed that all of the food commercials seem like they are for junk foods. I swear I smelled Dunkin Donuts when I saw the commercial over the weekend. LOL

yeah, I'd try to push through the 9 days. Then if you prep yourself for a small cheat - plan it, savor it, and know that that will be it for a while. You CAN have some meat in 4 more days - and it shall be good! For sweets craving, try one of the Quaker 2 grams of fat choc chip granola bars. They saved me a few times. I try not to eat one every day

those commercials are just cruel! Of course we used to go "hey Applebee's has an awesome special, let's go!"...

I was okay in phase I, but when phase II hit I had a major poutine craving.. I was obsessing... so I had the poutine and got back on track. From what I've read of this diet, if you follow it even up to 80% you will see results.. its okay to cheat, its not okay to let it ruin your diet.. I read something here that really made me see a cheat for what it is.. I won't quote it properly but it goes something like "If you trip a stair do you throw yourself down the whole flight?, No, so if you cheat on your diet, get right back up and keep going."
