Default Planning menu and Buddy

Hello everyone!

I am starting the Fat Smash tomorrow and am curious as to:

1. How do you plan your menus for the week? Sample menus? and changing it up enough to not get bored?

2. I am looking for a buddy, someone to call me out when I haven't worked out or have eaten off plan.

I have tried to diet off and on for years and I always find that I fall off the wagon due to boredom and zero accountability. I don't have a personal support system as my husband is a junk food addict and proud of it. It is often a challenge to not fall into the trap of eating take out. It does happen though since I don't have a steel-iron will (hence the reason I'd like a buddy).

Thanks for taking the time to read my post and for any help you can offer in my direction.

Hey, Beachbum, still looking for a buddy? I did EFS for a week a few weeks ago and then tried calorie counting. Unfortunately, I don't think I was quite ready for the freedom of CC so instead of giving up I am putting myself back on fat smash. Just can't decide if I want to do EFS for another week or P1 on FS. What are you doing?

I am doing FS. I tried EFS before and it is too restrictive, I never lost any weight. I am going to try FS, Ph 1. I might do 2 cycles of it depending on how well it goes. Right now I am Fat Smashing and counting calories, even if you dont need to; I feel that it helps me with portion control. I think that will come in handy when I want to go out when friends in the future.

Hey beachbum just curious you did lose any weight on EFS? It is very restrictive and I do understand why it's call extreme... I'm doing ok with the the first 2 days I had a headache but now I'm enjoying the cardo and definitely the portion control... I'm usually a calorie counter also.. but if you don't have good control and eat a bunch of empty calories it maybe better to do the FS.. good luck ladies and I'm sure you will do well.. weigh in day is for me tomorrow..

We just started too - on day 3. I'm glad some other people are too Tonight we made sweet potato fries and some corn-on-the-cob (got Eric a NuWave oven for his birthday) He just reminded me I have to exercise yet. I also made the roasted chick peas that I found the recipe for on the forum - they're really pretty good!

I really need to drink more water...

I think I lost maybe 2 lbs and later gained it back; it wasn't worth it so I went onto FS. On the FS, I don't feel like I'm on a diet at all. I just feel like I'm eating healthier and the food is delicious!

is anyone else dreaming of food? Both Eric and I have been having dreams of philly cheesesteaks and Applebees! I'm only on day 4 but I'm starting to have trouble. Luckily we live alone so there aren't too many temptations around the house. We're going to the store again - I was putting a whole roma tomato in my salads and I miss it. I hard boiled 2 eggs and took the whites off and put them in today's salad, but it's lacking Bean, egg, lettuce... and some spray dressing. Needs the tomato for some more liquid.

Birthday party tonight. I don't know how I'm going to do this. I guess it's good that we'll be together and that my sister who lost 30 pounds on this will be there to smack me if I drool at the cake too much!
