Question Views on extending Phase 1 on FS?

Today is my last day on phase 1 of FS (detox) and I was thinking of extending it for a little bit longer...has anyone done this and what is your view on it? Also, those of you who have gone on to Phase 2 of FS was there a big difference in weight loss? (better or worst then phase 1)

Thanks y'all for your imput!

im not sure whether its good or bad honestly...but i will say that i have pretty much stuck to phase one completely through out this week (phase 2 started on monday for me)...i like the availability of having other foods if i crave them...but the only ones that i have HONESTLY craved have been meat, chicken, and cereal...and even those i havent added them much to phase 2...i had cereal twice this week and only 1 cup each time instead of 1.5....i had 1 - 4oz piece of sirloin on monday for lunch...and i had like a 2oz piece of chicken for my 4th meal yesterday...and that was about it...i might have a 4oz piece of chicken today sine we are doing a bbq but if i dont..i will have my regular food of brown rice, black beans, and veggies...it really doesnt bore me...

again...im looking at each phase as having the availability of other foods...kinda like your cell phone..if you have unlimited nights and weekends...its the fact that you CAN use them if you so wish to...but chances are you really wont because its truly not necessary...

have i seen any loss of weight?...i started monday mornign about 5 pounds heavier then today...so yea im still dropping...today is my day off from workign out ...i do light weights and cardio every night....for about an hour to two hours...

i started Saturday July 7th from one day to the next honestly...i gathered info friday night...found this site and found some basic things to follow...then went out and bought the book that day to see the full details...been on it since...total i have lost around 16-17 pounds...around there...honestly i havent been keeping toooooo much track of the weight thing...this week was a fluke cause i bought the scale to test it out and compare to the gym scale...well lucky me i was told the gym scales are typically off...however when i started the gym...im pretty sure it was pretty accurate...i know what i was weighing before so i started my counting from that number and deducting from there...

I stayed on P1 for about 3 weeks. To be honest, I never made it past P1 because the instructions were so confusing! Plus as a vegetarian, there wasn't really anything in P2 to entice me. If you eat everything on P1 as written, it is calorie controlled and very balanced.

I finally gave up and moved on to something else. However, I walked away with a new appreciation for brown rice

I lost 53 lbs last year. It took me about 11 mos. and I found FS last dec. and tried it but couldnt stay on it for more then 3 days I would get really dizzy and weak but thats because I didnt take off my 53 lbs the healthy way so my body I think was very weak and couldnt with stand the abuse any longer so this past 6 mos. I haven't lost any weight but I've eaten right and healthy and now I've been on FS for 9 days and feeling great and I know I have lost 3 lbs in the past 8 days so tomorrow will be my final weigh in for phase 1. So I was thinking of continuing phase 1 but adding a lil chicken or lean meat here and there.

Thanks for the info!

I was thinking about staying on Phase one an extra week. I don't see why it would be a problem if you are eating what you are supposed to and aren't feeling sick.
